Medical Records and Insurance Requirements
Well I just got off the phone with the Medical Records Department at my local Hospital. They will be Faxing all my completed Insurance requirements to my surgeons office. I sent my food log to my surgeon on Friday, so I hope everything is in order. My surgeons office coordinator will let me know that she has received my records and then the waiting game starts. I am keeping my fingers crossed. I am also hoping there is no delays due to the fact that my insurance changed to Medicare in November. I am scared anxious and excited all at the same time.
I was worried about the two week pre op diet, but the Nut last week told me it was not a total liquid diet and that I could have one meal a day. That has elevated a lot of my concerns. So now I will concentrate on getting in my water, protein, and chewing.
