I noticed that Daisy had cinnamon on her menu this morning and it caught my eye.

Trainer did a video post this weekend about adding cinnamon, she mentioned two things, digestive health and as an anti inflammatory. I just googled, and apparently there are several benefits to adding cinnamon to your daily routine.

Yes I eat a lot of cinnamon. I never thought to put it in my menu. I have very weird tastes and I do sprinkle cinnamon over my cantaloupe. I love cinnamon. And yes exactly like you said Mike it does have anti inflammatory properties and aids in digestion and tastes yunmy!

I often sprinkle it over my coffee's I always drink decaf vanilla hazelnut and the light sprinkle of cinnamon just makes it even yummier.

I also like butternut squash cooked and served with butter and a sprinkle of cinnamon over it.

It is a natural anti inflammatory. I probably should add it to my oats since I have RA and NSAIDS are a no go but I tend to forget. Tumeric is another natural anti inflammatory too.

Good morning all.

Daisy - so sorry about the migraine. I suffer them too and they are a PIA.

QOTD: I don't know why but I thought of zucchini. Tall and lanky (my dream size), great in soups and stews...and when roasted, to die for.

Accountability: great. I had Chinese for the first time post op, I'm 8 months out. I was able to eat barely 3 spoons of chicken when pouch rebelled. I guess no more Chinese in my future. I also got some Girl Scout cookies for DD to send her in a package. In the past I would have gotten a couple of boxes for myself, but noooooo...just got enough for her and a couple of boxes for DS and didn't even take a lick! :-)

B: protein shake

L: chicken meatballs and brussel sprout

S: Yogurt

D: Turkey chili

Have a great week everybody.
