Happy Monday everyone! How was everyone's weekend? Mine sucked. I had a terrible migraine all day Saturday and didn't move off the bed other to go pee or take more meds. I was truly in so much pain it made me sick to my stomach. It poured rain on Sunday, my headache broke and now I am fine. I hate hate hate the weather changes as this is what it does to my head and its brutal. Hope you all had a better weekend than me.

Accountability: Let's not even go there... who wants to eat a chicken breast when your head is pounding, so let's just say I ate off plan all weekend and I am sure going to pay for it this week.

QOTD: If you were a vegetable what would you be and why? My first thought was to say an "eggplant." Because its big and round and purple and that is how I feel today big, fat, round and purply. But then I would have to change it to an onion, there are many layers to me and if you don'****ch it I will make you cry. LOL

Good morning all. Sorry you were not feeling well this weekend. My weekend was super chill and I am fully rested. My accountability was not on point yesterday, either. There may have been a Cadbury Egg involved :(

QOTD: Ha this is a cute question. I will go with Cauliflower! It's sort of boring, goes with everything, and most people like it.

I can't with the cauliflower. You are not the bland stand in for carb vegetable!

I would want to be a lovely vegetable. I like carrots that are not orange. I would be a non orange carrot.

NO sugar today. Whew. Ate well but quick things. Jerky, yogurt, coffee, and a salad with eggs and chicken. A few SF werthers caramels. Oh and pork rinds. At least I measure them no.

Happy Monday. The boy's midwinter break is over. It's time for him to go back. I want some peace without petulance. He bought his own dinner last night. Ruffles and that cheap ranch dip in a jar they sell by the chips. Whoohoo. So nutritious!

I'm sorry you didn't feel well this weekend. It stinks when your time off is wiped out that way! CAMAW/AMAW is coming next week.

QOTD: Hmmm, I guess maybe broccoli because it is my favorite vegetable. It looks like a tree so maybe I could be a tall majestic piece of broccoli (LOL - unlikely at 5'3")?

Hi Karen,

Do you have a recipe for your General Tso's. Its' one of my favourites but haven't found a bariatric friendly version?

No, I'm sorry, Joe, I just use Healthy Choice Cafe Steamers microwave meals. It is not very bariatric friendly.
