Trapped Wind!!!
This happened to me too and others . It probably IS trapped gas - don't forget they filled our bellies up with gas during the surgery . Its hard to get out .. lying on your side in certain one-knee up fetal position helps as does rolling from your side to your tummy and to your back . Look up gas releasing positions on the internet. Rubbing your belly a certain way helps get it out too.
Here's another warning- it can release when you're deeply sleeping at night and make you accidentally soil your pajamas . ( just something else to look forward to lol)
It Will ease ... hugs
Thanks for posting. Post-op gas is very common and if you search the posts you will find alot of information.
There are several things that will help. Walk as much as you can and as often as you can. The movement will help to work on the gas. Drink lots of fluids. I found that hot herbal tea helped, especially fennel tea which helps to break up the gas. Take stool softeners once or twice a day. It may be a bit premature since you don't have much going in except fluids, but it won't hurt. But I can't encourage you enough to walk. You don't have to move fast or even long periods, but get up and walk around the house every hour. Keep moving.
Hoping that it passes soon!

I'm a little over a week post op and I have been a walking trumpet ever since. I find that walking helps juggle it loose but if I sit for too long, it builds up uncomfortably.
