What's on your menu today (Photo Friday) RNYers?
Good morning menu folks! It is the second in a string of cool rainy days and I am using them as an excuse to curl up in bed and rest. I am recovering well and having less pain except when I try to do too much. By afternoon I am bored and trying to find gentle things to entertain myself with. I can only do so many crossword puzzles at a time!
I am trying to get outside and do at least one easy walk each day. It really feels good to move my body again.
I've picked out a couple of movies to watch today that should help to pass the time.
Menu: my appetite is still a little wonky. I am eating as much dense protein as I can but supplementing with an extra shake each day for plenty of protein. I am also eating my oatmeal and some fruit to keep my bowels moving. And lots of fluids!
Have a good Friday folks! Stay active and healthy.

exercise is 8fit if i can feel mentally well enough and can carve out a 6 foot space in my house to do this. its a bit overwhelming to not have an exercise meditation space because every inch it seems is all messed up. maybe i should start my cross fit unlimited month and get out of the house.
Good morning! Today is my first follow up with my PCP, probably just to make sure my incisions are healing ok. My surgeon follow up is in a little over a week. This will be my first outing and I'm pretty excited, but today is sandwiched between two freezing rain spells, so I'm just hoping the roads are ok after yesterday's storm. After the doctor, I want to go to hobby lobby to look for some kind of box to organize my garden seed packets, a photo album to organize a box of photos I've been holding on to from high school, and with all this free time I might pick up a new sketchbook and see what happens. I also want to go to the grocery store for a handful of things. Ambitious? Maybe. I'll probably take a nap when I get home. The rest of the weekend will be at home as were supposed to get more weather tomorrow.
menu: liquids but I'm getting really bored with my options. I'm not hungry, I just don't want to have these things anymore.
Photo is my first seed starting of the year! Two small trays of onion seeds. When they sprout, I'll separate them into their own plugs until it's time to go outside. I have an Australian brown onion and a Brunswick purple. In a couple more weeks I'll start seeds for tomatoes, pepper, eggplant, herbs, and flowers. A couple weeks after that, I'll start broccoli, kale, and cabbage, and a couple weeks after that will be zucchini, butternut, and my Giant Atlantic pumpkins. SO EXCITED FOR SPRING!
