Wow that's scary.

I was on the kidney transplant list for almost 3 years. After that,I've treasured not having to carry a phone.

When I used to do my roll out of bed Morning workouts I used one called Power Effects. I always over dilute things. I liked the fruit punch flavor. I bought on Amazon and Netrition

Good morning Daisy and Menu crew. Is it the flu that is causing the bed shortages Daisy? I have been busy this week as well. Traveled to Montreal Tuesday and yesterday. I got back to the office about 2 pm both days and that is late for me to eat my lunch. My back is getting better but am still very sore and am not planning on going to the gym tonight, if I do I will only walk on the treadmill.

Mornin' All!

I start my latest round of physical therapy this morning (I think this might be the 6th round?). I'm with a new health insurance company, so I have a new PCP *****ferred me to this - and of course, a new physical therapist. We'll see what he can come up with. DH wants to go out with the Swedish students again tonight since their conference has ended - so we may be doing that. Weather is supposed to be crappy (snow and freezing rain), so not sure if this will work, but...

accountability was great yesterday. Made some switches, but stayed within my calorie range.

2 years 8 months out:

B: homemade Greek yogurt with 1/2 scoop protein powder and 2 T Crio Bru grounds

MS: coffee with half & half, protein/Miralax latte shake

L: 1 C cottage cheese

AS: probably 2 T peanut butter with celery sticks

D: if I'm home, turkey taco meat with lettuce, tomato, plain Greek yogurt, salsa. If we go out with the students, then something protein-forward

Quick post this am,menu friends. Have to wake hubby shortly and then open the food pantry today. Lily and I have our 4 miles in and only got a tiny bit damp. I'll do another mile after supper. Accountability stunk. I got my second walk in purely because I was feeling guilty after eating extra mixed nuts and even 2 butter cookies. I seem to be craving carbs more so other than my oats I'm going to cut back more on them and see if that helps the cravings. I finally started knitting to keep food out of my mouth. Yuck! Post op 5 years 5.75 months and weight up at 119.6(another yuck!). Heres the food B 1/2c steel cut oats with protein and peanut butter added L 4 oz deli turkey and cheese with mustard D 4 oz strip steak and 1/2 c green beans S beef jerky x2. Have a great day all and make some smart and conscious choices--and today I'm addressing this to me! Now for some coffee!

I crash so hard on oatmeal. I haven't ate it in years.

Karen, it seems that you like to keep your weight in a narrow range? I've allowed myself a 3 pound ok range, but like you I freak if I'm at the high end. I can always see that slippery slope. You've had the oatmeal practically every day since I've been on this thread. Maybe there is some hidden stress driving the carb cravings that needs to be worked out? Maybe it is because it is the end of winter and you need to go camping!

I like that quote Daisy ! Had a real tiny pouch day yesterday - very strange feeling.

Wanted to eat but couldn?t- managed to get some kale/apple juice down and flavored seltzer and tea. Couldn?t even get vitamins down .

This morning at three i got up made a meal and put it back in the refrigerator.

Breakfast - vanilla nonfat yogurt blueberries

snack- !/2 a skinless smoked trout , chai skim latte

Im resolving to eat a lot more fresh fruit. Turns out its great for longevity, keeping away memory loss and heart issues. ( Curiosity channel has some interesting programs on the latest nutrition studies )

Fruit?s going to be a far larger priority for myself from now on

Have tax appeal papers to retrieve fill out and submit , oil tank removal to coordinate and a move to get started... grr

I had sashimi for lunch - it was my go-to the first few months post surgery! I feel like my body WANTS fish for the protein. If feels like I'm feeding my brain and my muscles.
