I've bought some lo-carb protein powder from a site called "Bulk Powders". 1kg of powder was roughly £15. 3g carbs per 30g of powder.

i went for chocolate peanut flavour, and raspberry. Both taste nice when blended with a stick blender w/milk.

Today I bought some Lentil soup (canned) and blended it up before I ate it.

It was a nice, thick soup.

Can anyone think of a reason for me NOT to do this 10 days post-surgery?

So I'm one week into my 2 weeks smooth liquid only phase. So far so good.

What principles should I be following as a T2 Diabetic? I've had a couple of meal replacement shakes, but those feel kind of high in sugar to me...

I suppose my basic question is - should I aim for low carb, low fat, or neither?

I'm pretty well versed in low carb dieting, and did pretty well on a lchf diet for years.

Anyone have any thoughts on this?

Hey I hope everything goes well for you and i hope you recover to be a healthy and active individual.

Even I am a fellow type 2 diabetic and i have been on a few pills for the past few years. As it is said, I have gained weight through the course of time and I have been exercising regularly everyday but it barely effective and I am starting to consider undergoing surgery avoid extreme obesity as it might affect my health adversely.

My query is regarding these things:

1. What all methods have you tried before deciding that you will go through a surgery?

2. How long was the surgery for you?

3. How do you feel right now after the surgery?

Thanks in advance!!
