Needing a swift kick in the butt!!
i have been SO lazy with exersize, I surprisze myself!! Going to be honest ,the last time I truly exersized was November. I can't seem to get the head mind to do it. The weird thing is, I love it. As soon as i'm in a class working my butt off i'm so invigorated. My son asked me yesterday when am I ready to do our next run. Yup I was running jogging doing weights.... Why the hell can I not get back in the groove??? Thankfully I haven't gained weight, but i'm at the end of my anniversary phase.

I lost 220 pound without really exercising. I maintain that loss (I am at 4 years) with very moderate/light exercising.
I don't count it at all -- I only do it for my health -- never for weight.
I am a strong believer and living (albeit anecdotal) proof that exercise isn't necessary to be successful losing or maintaining weight loss.

I had a bad achilles injury about 10 months ago and just finally healed enough to to get back to hardcore running again. I didn't gain weight without the exercise either, but damn, I am out of shape! I'm struggling to run 2 miles without dying and you know what? It's not fun to suck at something... I am not enjoying it at all right now. But knowing that I can get good at it again is what is keeping me going. I really look forward to the day that I will love it again and want to do it.

Howdy!
Me too! I feel and look so much better when I exercise. I presently look like a Sharpei with clothes off.! I have a gym membership but get so wrapped up with work. Need to find that time for myself.

I was just doing some reading at work and found this flowchart. Maybe others will find it helpful for exercise and other healthy habits they are looking to create!
It helped me realize that I don't have my exercise habits down, yet. I am cued only by a guilty feeling at the end of the night if I don't do it, not cued proactively, yet. And Lord knows I am still struggling with rewards not being tied to food. Anyway, I hope I can figure some better habit building techniques from this.
