Hi all

Busy weekend this past weekend. Only two new issue arose, toilet apparently has a backup and washer hookups are leaking and we have had to pull all of the drywall /insulation in there- oops forgot- 3rd is the bozo's didn't attach the metal siding to the house properly (no plywood/osb/barrier) so they nailed it to the board only then covered the inside with insulation/drywall. so... its a house of horrors now- really...

QOTD: Well pre house selling, we work on campers for fixer uppers, travel, antiquing, auctions, selling antiques, shopping, crafting, designing cards, helping others find their personal style as a personal shopper. that is my passion, as well as exercising (which is not really a passion).

I weighed on MY scale- yes I actually found it in the garage the other day, it was the same weight as almost the same day in Dec last year, which is good. I have about an 8 pounds swing during the month it seems. this part of the month is the high end.

Food for today

Leftover indian pork- shiritaki noodles

bbq pork

egg whites

protein panckaes maybe

not sure on dinner but thinking on something yummy

exercise will be tabata if I can find a 6 foot space to exercise in which is not exposed walls and not covered in boxes.

we had some issues like that with the parts of our house that were added or remodeled (the main part is fine - very well-built). Like...some previous owners did a mostly DIY bathroom addition and mounted the shower tiles on dry wall instead of waterproof material like Durarock. And painted the tub in the original bathroom with what appeared to be some kind of latex rather than bathtub glaze, so it started peeling off in chunks. Or not sanding and prepping the outside of the house (it was originally stained redwood) before painting it, so that paint, too, started coming off in chunks. So we had to completely gut the first bathroom since we didn't know how extensive the water damage was, pretty much completely gut the second one since it was better to just replace the tub, which meant the floor had to be replaced, too, and sand the whole outside of the house down to the wood and start over again. AAARRRRGGGH. So suffice it to say, I feel for you and I'm sorry you're having to deal with this.

I know it seems like a house of horrors now but you and hubby will get it fixed exactly the way you like it soon. And I wish I had the view of your road you posted and enough trees to have bears. It will get fixed just so and then we'll all be jealous.

Good morning menu crew! It's a rainy dreary day in Wisconsin. We were supposed to get an ice storm last night and the kiddos were really hoping for a day off of school but the temps never got low enough. They did get a 2 hour delay which makes them happier.

QOTD: Free time? What is free time? When I'm not working or commuting I enjoying exercising, spending time with my kiddos and baking. Last night I made peach macarons for a friend's birthday. I was so proud of myself for not having one or even sampling the buttercream. I made my official taste testers do that. ;)

Time since surgery: 3 years 6 months

B: Coffee with premier protein and 1 oz hard salami

S: green olives and mozzarella cubes, more coffee

L: Salad with protein

S: Pepperoni and string cheese

D: Protein and a small salad

W/V: started

E: Swim tonight

Have a great day all!
