What's on your menu today (Tuesday) RNYers?
Ah yes, I remember the days of sleeping in the recliner... I'm a side sleeper, and I think I slept in the recliner for something like 3 weeks. I was SO HAPPY when I could return to sleeping on my side.
Hang in there, you already know it gets better... just getting through this stage stinks!

Lol it might not be so bad if the recliner wasn't so uncomfortable (hence the sore behind). But I do feel somewhat more human today, so hopefully my side-sleeping self can get back to it sooner rather than later!

I figured that would come once I really start shedding weight...so far I've only just barely lost the "hospital gain." So at this point I think it's just regular variety cranky and not hormone-induced cranky? Lol

Good morning Daisy and everyone!
So glad you enjoyed your long weekend. I remember before I was forced to retire, I always looked forward to long weekends.
QOTD: Since I have been retired for a number of years now for health reasons, I have found plenty to occupy my time. I love to do DIY and refinish furniture in the warmer months. In the long winter months I have started Knitting and crocheting again and have also been working on a penny backsplash project. Since losing all the extra weight, I have so much more energy to do things and can always find things to do. Actually, I wish I had more hours in a day.
Menu TBD but protein forward of course. I am going to try and go to Bible study tonight so not sure about dinner at all.

Nothing Tastes as Good as Healthy Feels!
Good morning. It is supposed to hit the low 90's here today! I haven't turned on the AC yet (I like my windows open), but I may tonight.
QOTD: We are still working on a routine, but walking, swimming and dog walking are becoming part of it. Speaking of which, DH and I fell in love with a chihuahua mix who came in as a stray and was very timid when we first took her out yesterday. We spent a lot of time walking with her and in the "playpen". By the time we put her back in her crate, she was strutting around and perking her ears and tail up even around the other dogs. She literally ran circles around us in the pen and when we sat came up in our laps to snuggle. DH says he wants a dog like her... Picture of the 2 of them below.

BOTH of them look so happy together!!!
Chihuahua's don't take up too much space... you'll have room for several of them
