Just wondering...
Hello Everyone,
I am 8 weeks out of surgery and just wondering, will I ever eat and not feel nauseous afterward? I don't eat a lot but every time I do my stomach feels sick. I also have very little energy. Hoping this feeling goes away soon. Thanks for reading and thanks in advance for any words of experience.

it was OK once I knew what it was (it didn't even occur to me at the time, even though I'd heard of them). They just do an upper endoscopy and stretch out the scar tissue with an instrument with a balloon-like thing at the end of it. It was quick and easy and I felt 100% better afterward!
What are you eating? I had a hard time with so much at the beginning, and probably up until about month 5 or so... I couldn't eat what others could back then.
It does get better, and in retrospect, I wish my pouch was still as persnickety as it used to be! LOL
The energy levels get better too, but you really need to be sure you are getting enough protein. Are you supplementing with protein shakes? Because if you don't get enough protein, your energy will remain low.
Hang in there! Post what you eat and maybe someone can help you out with other options!

I do post just about every day in the menu thread. This was yesterday's menu. We had a chick fil la night for a school function last night - I do not normally eat fast food but yesterday I did. I also got 92 ounces of water in. Still felt nauseous last night.
