What's on your Sunday Menu, RNYers?
Good morning! I struggled with fluids yesterday because I kept falling asleep and couldn't catch up. I don't feel like I'll need as much pain meds today so I'm hoping to get to work sipping! I have a big cup that hold 40 oz, and I'll try to have 2 Premier protein shakes at 11 oz each, and a jello at bedtime. I'm finding that I can't handle flavors in my water right now. Yesterday I was trying to drink a protein water (clear) from the vitamin Shoppe called isotech42 (42g of protein) and I had to keep diluting it. Plain, room temp water is what I'm doing best at.
qotd: my most memorable pet is my Selina, whom I rescued as a 3 week old kitten. Her mama had been killed in a farming accident, so I bottle fed her, helped her go potty and litter trained her, and now she's pretty much my shadow. She is quite a huge cat at 13.5 lbs, and I post pics of her often.

Glad that you are doing fluids! I couldn't stand room temperature pain water for months after surgery. We are all different!
Way to go!
Happy lazy Sunday! Today is going to be a great day of relaxing and doing whatever I want to (seems like I never get days like that anymore) so I am very happy. We are planning to go on a long walk with the dogs, then ice fishing, might go see a movie too. The movie might happen tomorrow though so we don't run from thing to thing.
accountability: yesterday was a bit of a cheat day but I made what I call "good cheat choices" haha... as if there is such a thing
qotd: technically these weren't my pets, but when I was growing up, my brother had a 55 gallon sal****er tank and there were so many cool things in there. There were different species of shrimp, fish, crabs, anenomes, even a puffer fish. I used to just sit in front of it and stare. So fascinating to watch them all!
b: bacon and a couple bites of protein pancakes
l: leftover ground chicken
d: leftover chicken and eggplant
s: Greek yogurt
e; dog walking
v: patches
have a great day everyone!

Enjoy your horseback riding Karen. Wished we live closer because I would love to do that.
