From the you can't make this **** up department! Senior night for Ryley was cancelled last week due to a team having too many illnesses and moved to tomorrow - well guess what? The team the boys were supposed to play has cancelled due to illness ! We have a playoff game on Tuesday evening at home rink and now the ceremony will have to be done after that game! Poor kids!

QOTD - my Dad, no questions asked , I still call him for advice .

Good morning! My morning was screwed up a little bit, in that my wife had to go in to work early, meaning I was the lunch-maker/kid dresser/make-sure-they-are-ready-for-the-school-bus guy today. Apparently that's called parenting (according to my wife...pfft..)lol

It gave me a chance to do something a bit different with my menu, which is nice once in a while. The walk to work was treacherous as far as sidewal**** but otherwise good. Nice day out there. My weight was down 9 lbs from Sunday, continuing downward which is encouraging me. It was a hard week coupled with a few Valentines' bites of no-nos. The rest of the week and the HUGE water made up for those, along with extra exercise. Along with the walking, I drum a fair amount. 600 calories/hour playing rock style adds up.

Menu: B: Fried egg and cheese with romaine and sriracha on marble rye toast. I literally don't remember the last time I had anything like that, let alone toast. I don't eat eggs much because I got it in my head a long time ago that they were evil for cholesterol (that debate rages on in the medical community). Mine was borderline high. First I just avoided the yolks and made a habit of it, then stopped eating them altogether. This was pretty good though.

MS: 1/2 cup cottage cheese with 1/2 cup dill pickles chopped up

L: Protein bar

AS: 1/2 cup ff greek yogurt with 1/2 cup berries mixed in.

S: Unknown, but I'm going out tonight to see a friend's band play at a pub. Probably skip supper and find something on-plan later. It'll be nice to be in the audience for once.

QOTD: I'd have to call my wife, and she would laugh and likely leave me in there for a while, so she could have a nice peaceful evening of reading. Hahaha...Originally, I thought I'd just call one of my band members, but who am I kidding? They'd be in there with me.

Good morning menu friends! Accountability was good yesterday foodwise but i didn't get my fluids in so weight is up again today--yuck! Thats the goal for today. Lily and I already have our 4 miles done and I'll do another mile later. QOTD my husband for sure. I would never hear the end of it though. Post op 5 years 5.5 months and weight at 119.2 today. Heres the food B 1/2 c steel cut oats with protein and peanut butter L 1 c chili with cheese D 31/2 oz strip steak 1/2 c sliced cucumber and tomatoes S sm apple with 1 T peanut butter. Have a great day everyone annd make some smart and conscious choices. Pic is my outfit today. Bought this pair of vintage high waisted button fly jeans because when they were popular back then I was too big to find a pair to fit me. Now I get my chance! To tell you how sizes have changed--these are a size 3 and are the same waist wise as my size 0s from today.
