Good morning menu friends! I had a big pouch day yesterday too. I finally went to bed to stop the eating. I have rheumatoid arthritis and have for 30 plus years. There really isn't much to take as the treatment of choice is NSAIDS. I use Tylenol or tramadol when needed and if really miserable do a short course of prednisone. Haven't had as much problem since losing my weight. QOTD I would have to give it all back. Even though I truly could use the money,I couldn't live with myself if I kept anything. Lily and I will head out in a second for our 4 miles and I'll do another mile after supper. Post op 5 years 5.5 months and weight up a bit at 119 today. Heres the food for today B 1/2c steel cut oats with protein and peanut butter L 1 c chili with cheese D 31/2 oz smoked sausage 1/2 c broccoli S 5 oz cottage cheese with 1 T no sugar added strawberry jam. Have a great day everyone and make some smart choices--my first one heading off to walk even though I'd rather not!

Good Morning Daisy and Menu crew. Hope everyone had a lovely Valentines day. I am off on Monday as well. Not here early enough to get the crew started. I am unsure about arthritis, but wake up quite often stiff as hell and takes me a bit to get everything working smoothly....very stiff in the morning.

Accountability, I had skinny popcorn again, perhaps I just start to plan for it and ensure I measure. Something has been bothering me and we talk about it in the evenings and then I am wound up, it is nothing bad , but just has me a little fired up and I am consumed with thinking about it, seems to be causing me some anxious moments....

QOTD - I lost around $200 and my wallet once in Hampton beach NH, the person that found my wallet turned it in to the chamber of commerce , they called me and I got my wallet back with all contents. I was 18 and that I really needed that $$$$, since that day I have always tried to find the rightful owner of things...

menu today -

B - protein bar

S - fage 0 , blueberries, almond butter

L - 90/10 burger , 1/2 cup of jasmine rice

S - protein bar as i am out of five grain cereal and almond butter

D - I bought a piece of salmon at Aldis - fresh, never frozen, has anyone tried the salmon from Aldis>?

E - leg day -

*** workout yesterday was not good, I struggled with the bench and was conscious of my weakness compared to the musclemen around me....I don't know why it bothered me so much yesterday....

Todays quote - Stay positive and happy. Work hard and don't give up hope. Be open to criticism and keep learning. Surround yourself with happy, warm and genuine people.

Stay Healthy my friends, Mike

I have not tried the salmon at Aldis, but there is one near me and I keep seeing their ads for it and thinking I'm going to try it. Please report back!

I love Aldis particularly the reasonably priced fresh veggies. I?ve never tried their salmon( prefer less fatty wild caught Salmon) but their shrimp and scallops are great quality and very reasonably priced.
