What's on your menu today (Wednesday) RNYers?
I'm sorry about your dad. I'm curious: medical marijuana for his dementia or a medical issue? My son has read that it might be halpful for Alzheimer's.

It's for dementia related issues - mostly agitation that I believe is caused by the confusion. His doctor says there is nothing for them pharma wise to safely take. We will have to change that if he is admitted to a nursing home as they will not administer this as they are partially federally funded and it's not legal on that level, ugh.

I think Hospice at home is usually a better solution anyway. I hope it can be worked out.

Good morning,

B ham and cheese omelette and string cheese
L tuna, cottage cheese and honeycrisp apple
D goulash
Have a wonderful day
Happy Valentine's Day everyone!!!!
Crazy busy at work this week, and probably the weeks to come... OSHA regulations are changing and it's going to be crazy for months! Ack!
QOTD: If I left damage on a car, I'd have to stop and leave my name/number... I love the idea of taking a picture though. I'll keep that in the back of my mind if it ever happens. Karma would come bite me in the ass if I didn't do the right thing.
Accountability: Ugh. King Cake. Someone had one in the kitchen... they are SO PRETTY! And I knew better... but my brain failed me and I had a piece around 3pm yesterday. Cue in the RH around 5 and a piece of toast with almond butter entered the picture... then chicken and dumplings for dinner. It was a crap shoot yesterday.
Today I've started off strong!
B: 3 ounces of a grilled pork chop
L: I have a choice in there... pulled pork or crack chicken... both measured out and portioned
D: Going to a cheesy new Cajun place that opened this week with the family. They have plenty of grilled/blackened options, of which I plan on trying.

Good day menu friends!
Accountability: I had a cupcake at a work lunch yesterday, then skipped dinner and my evening snack (not great choices) so I ended up even on calories but low on protein and high in carbs/sugar.
QOTD: If I was certain there was no damage I wouldn't leave a note, otherwise yes. In the 100% honesty part, I sideswiped a car in high school that was even older than my 10 year old station wagon, and I didn't leave a note. I still feel guilty! There wasn't any structural damage (I did it while trying to parallel park that beast!) but it did leave a wide scuff in the paint.
