What's on your menu today (Tuesday) RNYers?
Today is starting off well! I have already given DH his Valentine's Day card because he's out working inventory in different cities throughout the month and we won't see each other on Valentine's Day but our anniversary is in February so he and I have already celebrated both events. I bought him a card and three dark chocolate-covered raspberry filled Hearts because he likes raspberries. Those don't tempt me.
I decorate my office for each holiday so I've had hearts all over for several weeks.
Accountability: I have a nasty cold and am having to grind up sinus tablets. The brand that doesn't make me drowsy are huge. So I haven't had issues with cravings. Drinking lots of tea herbal and otherwise
QOD: Too afraid of getting caught to help. My teachers had eyes in back of their head. We were tracked throughout school so classes always very competitive
On the menu today:
B. Egg muffin from recipe that comes with Nascobal vitamins every month.
S. Vanilla protein shake
L. Meatball with mixed veggies
S. sf Fruit cup
D. Pasta e Fagoli at Olive garden. Will save the chicken picatta for Thursday's lunch (will throw away what I can't eat)
V. All vitamins are chewable/microlingual so easy to get in almost 2 months post o.o
Ex. Will do treadmill weight loss program for 25 min tonight

I read these posts every day but don't post. Need to change that.
I've been sick the last few days with a stomach virus, so the menu is quite easy today. Liquids and more liquids. :)
I've gained some weight. 18 pounds to be exact, so I really need to buckle down and get back at it. I gave up tracking and well---on comes the weight. I won't mention the carb creep either. Just one bite? yeah. Doesn't work for me. SIGH. I always have to learn the hard way!
I also have a question for the vets. I've been exhausted lately, like bone weary tired. I had my bloodwork done and my iron is at a 4. I started at a 87. The nurse from my centre said that basically I've depleted all my stores and she told me to take Ferous Fumerate daily to bring it up. I asked her to refer me to a specialist as my iron hasn't been above 12 for over a year, but she said no that I wasn't that bad yet. So my question to the vets--is it ok to double up on the iron? Take 2 pills at once? also, any other suggestions to get the iron up? I'm struggling and just feeling terrible. Any help/ideas would be greatly appreciated.
Menu for today:
Breakfast: Tea with Premier Protein
Lunch: Protein shake-maybe
Supper: Protein shake
Water and some Gatorade throughout the day as well. To keep me hydrated.
QOTD: In middle/high school-yes. I'd help no problem. University? Sorry. On your own.
No plans for Valentine's Day here. Single, and if I'm still feeling as good as I do right now? It will be another early night for me.
