Hey guys! Been a while since i last posted on here..however,i want to let you all know that i have my preop appointment FEB. 14....and if all comes back well (nicotine levels) scheduled surgery is for FEB 27, 2018!! i have anticipated this date for a very long time and i may have blew it or may uave caused to have it pushed back for smoking.

I was doing so good with the quitting. I went 2 months in a half without one cig then i fell off the wagon. But i am back on it again i have not smoked since Feb 7 2018.

My question is do you all think i would pass the nicotine mouth swab scheduled on Feb 14? since i have not smoked since the 7th?

Thanks!

It takes about 4 days for nicotine to not show up on a mouth swab.

Good luck, and I hope you can really kick the habit this time! I quit about 9 years ago--it's tough and even after the nicotine leaves your system you will still crave the habit--having a cig at certain times and not knowing what else to do with yourself instead. But now, 9 years later, I can't stand the smell of cig smoke, it makes me nauseous.
