Good morning! I had my final consult with my surgeon this morning, and they sent in some prescriptions for pain and nausea for me to pick up prior to Thursday so I have them at home. I will be in the hospital 2-3 days, however, my husband was out the next day because he was not in much pain and was up and walking and handling fluids, so I'm hoping I too will be a rockstar so I can heal at home. Of course I won't push to leave if I feel like I need to be there.

Qotd: yes I'm a teller, but I'll do so privately depending on the company we're keeping, and what the issue is. I'd expect people to do the same for me!

menu: liquids. Bone broth with a dash of hot sauce is keeping me sane right now. The hot sauce is a recent addition. I suddenly want to add it to everything (surgeon's NP said it was ok to add)

Hoping everything goes well for you Thursday! Since you've been through this with your husband you probably know want to do and not. You are going to do great!

Getting so close! Hot sauce is one of my best friends... and honestly, it started being my friend early out after surgery... Yum!

I've always liked spicy, but I think now I'm just bored with my menu so I'm spicing up everything (ok everything that spicy will go with anyway) broth, V8 (I can pretend I'm having a Bloody Mary?)

Hello Everyone

we just had rain all weekend so it was a wet mess but at least our rehearsals were t cancelled due to snow.

Accountability: my weekend was awful. My husband and daughter went to see a show my son was in. I couldn't leave rehearsals to go. I was at work all day, but when I was home alone I was not a good girl and I was miserable most of the time but couldn't break the cycle of eating. Thank goodness my pouch can't deal with too much or I would have been in even more trouble. Back on the wagon today.

QOTD: it depends on who it is. I should probably tell no matter what but sometimes I'm just not comfortable if it's someone I don't have much of a relationship with.
