Good Morning! Daisy, I love seeing Amy and Oliver snow pics-they always look so happy. I am glad that Oliver is all healed from his recent surgery. We had a weekend filled with errands and watched some of the Olympics here and there.

Accountability: In general for the weekend I did okay. I had a few bananas and these granola/almond butter cup things (I WON'T BE BUYING THESE AGAIN...ya when I bought them they were for Em...NOT)

QOTD: I think it really depends on the person, but generally yes. Once a few years ago I had to tell a co-worker that she forgot her shell/tank top thing under her sheer see-through shirt. Luckily, at the time we worked across the street from Walmart she she threw on a sweater and headed over there for a tank top.

Time since surgery: 3 years 6 months

B: SF latte, eggbeaters, ½ an orange and 2 turkey sausage links

L: Albacore lettuce wraps and baby carrots

S: Salami, Carbmaster yogurt, and mixed nuts

D: Steak salad with 3 oz, grilled steak, cheese and a boiled egg and 2 squares dark chocolate

ES: Homemade Greek yogurt with SF jam and ¼ cup fiber cereal

E: An hour stair climber this morning and 40 mins of elliptical at lunch

V/W: On track

Totals: Cals:1188 Protein:119 Carbs:69 Fat:56

Have a great one!

Mornin' All!

the first part of this week should be pretty low key (yay!) but bedlam toward the end. At least I'll have a few days of quiet and fairly low work flow. After last week, I need it!

accountability was great yesterday, but Friday and Saturday weren't as good (Fri - good choices but went over a bit on calories since we had a meal out, Saturday way over on calories because I had popcorn at the movies - bad choice!!). So weight has been on the high end of the range the last couple of days.

QOTD: someone that I know well, yes. Strangers - it depends. If it's someone with their skirt tucked into their underwear, yes. But food on their teeth - no.

2 years 8 months out:

B: plain Greek yogurt with scoop of protein powder and 2 T Crio Bru grounds mixed in

MS: coffee with half & half, protein/Miralax chocolate latte shake

L: 1/2 bagel with either peanut butter or cream cheese, cottage cheese (I know - shouldn't be having the bagel - I guess I could take it home? I got it free this morning at my regular coffee place. Figured I'd either eat just half of it or take it home - but thought I'd record it just so I'm being upfront about it in case I do eat it)

AS: if anything, a L&F yogurt

D: probably turkey taco meat with lettuce, tomato, Greek yogurt, and salsa

Please explain this mixing Crio Bru grinds in. Dry grinds? Wet grind?

I use the "used" ones (i.e., after I make Crio Bru, I save the grounds and put them in the fridge). I read they have some good fiber and antioxidants in them - and plus they're so expensive, I figured I might as well get as much use out of them as I can. I started putting them in chocolate protein shakes, but the grounds mostly sink to the bottom - you have to keep shaking it up and taking a swig right away before they settle to the bottom again, which is sort of a nuisance. So now I sometimes mix them into my yogurt - along with a flavor that goes OK with chocolate-flavored bits

Good morning! My weekend was good. I spent a lot of it outside fueling my love/hate relationship with winter. Friday night I drove to my parent's place for a visit (through the ridiculous snowstorm...but coffee was at stake). I got home and found 8" of snow on my driveway, so I shoveled it out, down to concrete. Saturday morning I awoke to another 2" plus a gift from the snowplow at the end of my driveway, so I went out and shoveled again. The end stuff had to be broken up before I could shovel it, so I grabbed this 20 lb spud bar (big metal stake) and went to town. As I finished, the neighbour came over with a snow blower, LOL. So together we did a half dozen driveways, him chewing up the end stuff for me. I took the kids swimming again, and by the time we got back, I had to shovel again. Sigh....

Sunday had freezing rain mixed in, which was extra awesome. The menu was pretty well on plan, with a couple of minor hiccups but nothing crazy (certainly worked off the little bit that wasn't perfect).

Menu today: B: 1/2 cup ff greek with 1/2 cup berries. MS/AS: protein shake. L: 1/2 cup 1% cottage cheese, mixed with 1/2 cup chopped dill pickle. S: Probably chili. All water and vites no problem

QOTD: LOL I'd probably point it out discreetly if it was really bad.

G?morning all.

This is a post and run. I?ll come back later to read.

Weekend was FUN! DS did great in his WP tournament. We almost stayed in So CA today too for DH & DS to surf but it was too much for us to call in sick (ahem). Besides supposedly surf is better here up north than down there. I don?t get it but whatever. So we hoofed it up last night after the game, 8:00 pm, and got home around 1:00 am.

QOTD: I would tell. Once I told a lady at Yarget that her underwear was showing through her thin leggings when she bent. DD was mortified but I told her I would want somebody to tell me if I'm embarrassing myself without realizing it

Accoubtability for the weekend was great. What do you eat on a pool deck anyway?

Today's menu is all up in the air. But def protein forward.

Have a great start of the week.

Good morning. Wow life is so different. I'm having a blast. I hope I never take that feeling for granted again. I went to the auto show yesterday. I never would have considered doing that before. And I snowshoed all weekend. Even brought them to work this morning and will do it all week before wor****il the snow crusts over (which by my estimation will be sometime on Wednesday when temps climb near 32).

QOTD - yes, oddly that happened last week. My office mate came out and she had her skirt tucked in the back side of her hose. I whispered in her ear.

B - 1/2 cup oatmeal with Quest peanut butter protein powder

S - 2 eggwhites and 1/4 of a yolk

L - Brisket chili and small salad

S - Fage yogurt

D - Brisket and small salad

S - SF popsicles

Compliance wasn't perfect as I was starving at the auto show and ate a pretzel. I enjoyed it. But then I saw a burger booth - wished I ate that instead. But I did enjoy the soft pretzel with some mustard

Weight was down 3.5 pounds this week. Which means I crossed over 300 pounds lost
