Did you have an inspection first?... did the old owners disclose leaks? ...sounds like a lot ...here's hoping for a quick and easy resolution to the challenges! Take care!

Hi Everyone!

I first need to say how much I have missed everyone's posts and photos! I have had some crazy, and stressful, few months. My eating has sucked, and I've gained about 10 lbs in the last 6 months. Besides feeling yuck, I refuse to let this be how/where my journey ends. So here I am!

QOTD: close friends, colleagues, and family - YES! If I can tactfully tell someone I don't know, I will. But I'm always afraid to say "you have something on your face" and it be a pimple or something...

I am doing shakes for breakfast, lunch, and a snack, and then eat dinner with the family. I am hoping getting back to basics will help to get my act together and back on track!

I'm worth it!

Morning Menu peeps! Hope everyone had a great weekend! Did alot of back and forth driving this weekend, my husbands hobby is guns..so we drove (about an hour away) so he could buy a new one, had to drive back up to that same area that night for our daughters winterguard competition. Then had to drive back to that same area Sunday am to take our son to his drum corps rehearsal. Then back Sunday evening to pick him up. All in the pouring rain. Its rained for like 4 days straight here...and still going strong today.

The cookies look good! My mom loves to make cut out cookies. I despise making them. Its the one holiday cookie I NEVER make so all of my friends call my mom for them. LOL! I don't like icing either. So when I was little she would always make me a small batch of naked ones.

Awesome about your sons speech he sounds like an awesome kid! Glad your family made it to see the speech!

QOTD: I am a teller also. The girls I work with love it. B/c no one else does. I hope they'd tell me too. From undies to boogers!

B: Premier Protein drink (Chocolate)--How long does it take you all to drink this..some mornings I have it at my desk forever!

L: Either tuna salad or leftover turkey spaghetti/zoodles

D: Turkey meatloaf, mashed cauli, and sauteed zucchini

S: I brought a greek yogurt and some babybell cheese

E: Going to the Bodypump class at the gym at 4:30. Half of our patients have cancelled for the day so I may leave earlier and do something else prior to the class.

Hope everyone has a great day!!

Good morning menu peeps!

Had a good weekend and it seems I'm finally over that stomach bug I had most all of last week. Whew, that was exhausting and painful!

QOTD: I'm a teller... quietly in most cases, and I've been known to tell complete strangers, depending on the situation. I certainly won't let a stranger walk around with their skirt hiked up in their hem line, but I might not tell them about the parsley if it's just a quick encounter.

Accountability: I did well except for the two cookies my son baked Saturday... Oh those cookies... his sugar cookies are just so hard to walk away from!

I did manage to lose a couple of pounds during my tummy bug, and it seems they are staying away. I definitely reinforced the fact that I just don't hole a lot of water weight though, I lost 2 pounds during my sickness, and luckily they are still gone! I'll take it!

Food for the day: I packed a few things for the next couple of days but I left my lunch bag in the car... considering it's only like 19 degrees out, I'll wait until I get really hungry before I go down and get it (I park in the back of the lot, and it's a bit of a walk out there and back). I'm not even sure what's in there, but they are all frozen, pre-measured, low carb, high protein choices.

Have a great day everyone!!!
