Good morning Daisy and Menu folks. My folks flew in on Friday to watch Ryley play in his senior night game. The game was cancelled as the other team had too many injuries and illness. The Banquet after was held and Ryley was the only player to do a speech, it was wonderful and brought tears to our eyes, he is so thoughtful and a good public speaker, we received many compliments. We were able to go to the rink and snap a picture with Ryley and my mom and day, I will post below.

Accountability - decent weekend, not perfect, but decent.

I love how Ryley made the stretch to get his arm not only around his grandparents, but you as well. He's a handsome kid! Your parents look so happy to be there with him!

What an awesome pic! Bummer that the game was cancelled but it sounds like the banquet was very meaningful so I am sure your parents were grateful to be there for that.

wELL- with all these rains our new (to us) house flooded downstairs last night. 2/3 of the downstairs go****er coming in from foundation and to top it off, the roof is leaking into two rooms upstairs with one room dropping into plastic bins. and they say insurance generally does not cover foundation issues. so we may have to pay for all of this.

QOTD: yes i'm a teller also but it has to be someone I know. I think the worst teller situation was a lady wearing light khaki pants but you could see the poise pad in her butt area. I did let her know. Another was my neighbor that was wearing white pants with polka dot panties underneath.

I ate poorly as you can guess from the above statement about the house last night. I was freaking a little and ate my feelings- it was after 8 pm which kind of reinforces that I don't need to eat period after 8pm.

today is a new day!

turkey meatballs

Sorry to hear abou****er issues , fun!

Does your home have gutters and is the water seem to be flowing to the foundation instead of away from it?

Its both really- but the main issue is that the water needs to be diverted away from the foundation. We need to put in gutters and also build up and divert the water.

we also could use some retaining walls.

oh no - we've had issues like that in the past - it's *very* upsetting. I know it's fixable, but it's too bad you have to pay for that out of pocket. Especially when you just moved in!! I am so sorry!!
