when I'm facing something unpleasant like that, I just focus on the fact that'll it'll soon be over. And it will! I'm sure it will go just fine, but I'll keep you in my thoughts!

I hope you can find some peace the next few days. Try and stay busy, I hope you can get your pool time in. And, yes keep getting in that protein.

As you know the anticipation is often the worse part. You'll feel so much better once you recover. And I'm sure your recovery will be smooth since you have been so active on a regular basis with your swimming.

Good morning menu peeps! Still an icy mess here in Illinois so Lily and I are waiting to walk this afternoon so hopefully it will be softer. Yesterday we only got a short walk in as it was dangerously slick. I'll also do another mile on the treadmill too. Accountability was yuck as I ate two handfuls of nuts and wanted to eat even more. I finally got the knitting out and ended up going to bed early because the snacking urge was so bad. QOTD I'm a private teller because I would want someone to tell me too. Post op 5 years5.5 months and weight at 118.8 today. Got busy yesterday and didn't drink enough so that's the goal for today. Food for today is B 1/2 c steel cut oats with protein and peanut butter added L 1 c chili with cheese D 4 oz ground beef burger 1/2 c italian green beans S 2 oz serving graze protein power mix(roasted chickpeas and edamame). Have a great day full of smart and conscious choices everyone!

The weather has been great here. We are "stuck" in a pattern of mid-eighty degree sunny days, but have had a nice warm breeze. I'll take it! I've started to realize that going home in April will be difficult because I will miss all the activities we do here.

We have dog shadowing at the shelter today. We need to get 5 hours in before we are on our own.

QOTD: Yes, I would absolutely tell (and have - including telling the guy his fly is down), because I would want someone to tell me!

Accountability: Pretty good yesterday, but I need to buckle down as I have been a bit above my preferred range for a few days now.

1 year, 10.5 months post-op

B: eggs, cottage cheese and Canadian bacon

L: Tuna salad, pickles and cottage cheese

D: Crab cakes or vegetarian chili

S: Cottage cheese and/or yogurt

Good Morning Daisy and Menu Family!

LOVE the picture of Amy & Oliver, Daisy! It could be a postcard! They are both SO cute!

QOTD: Yes, I would tell the person, unless it was a complete stranger, then probably not. I'm too shy to go up to a total stranger and tell them something embarassing like that.

Accountability: Yesterday: Protein - 81, Calories - 1,190, Carbs - 110.

B: prosciutto & mozzarella sticks, light & fit Greek yogurt

L: taco meat, cheese, sour cream

D: chicken broccoli alfredo

S: prosciutto & mozzarella sticks, light & fit Greek yogurt, broccoli & ranch dip, 2 Atkin's peanut butter cups.

E: Taking Blossom for a walk if not too cold and snowy.

Have a FANTASTIC day everyone!
