Good morning! The sun is barely coming up! We are heading to Santa Barbara today. We are going to finish putting Robs new office together, explore downtown, have some lunch and visit the Mission while we are there. It should be a really nice day. Enjoy Vegas Erin, I haven't been since I was 21. We are planning to go this year, planning around some shows we want to see.

QOTD - Movies - theater - Star Wars w/DS and at home would be Stripes w/Rob. Neither were my choice though I enjoyed them both.

Accountability - not good -I got more letters from Jess and they send my anxiety off the charts... These letters were not heartbreaking, just not happy - so better? I will call it progress, but I'm still praying for things to get better for him. One more tough week of 'phase 1' and things should get better for him. Anyway this anxiety resulted in a Quest protein bar, 2 spoons of almond butter, handful or two of pork rinds and small handful of whisps and I didn't even enjoy them because I was distracted - they were just gone. What we do to ourselves. Even though I went off, I was down to an all time low weight this morning, go figure.

14 mo post of - 156

b-coffee/w hc, scrambled eggs

l-out - probably grilled chicken

d-baked chicken

v/l - on track

Have a great day everyone!

Good morning! My cousin wanted to go shopping today, so after lunchtime (she knows I'm not eating solids right now so she will just make sure she eats first) we are going to hit the mall, and also a bookstore. I already have a huge to-read pile while I'm off work (my surgeon gives 4 weeks)

Qotd: last movie I saw in theater was Star Wars (DH and I are huge nerds) and at home I just re-watched the live action Beauty and the Beast, which I adore.

menu: liquids, though I'm already getting bored with flavors and textures. I can't chomp on SF popsicles due to sensitive teeth. I'm eating more Unjury chicken soup, and adding unflavored protein to fat free cream soups because I'm tired of sweet things. I bought some low-sodium V8 and added protein last night and even though I normally don't care for V8, it tasted divine.

Yes, the Unjury chicken soup and V8 were lifesavers for me when the sweet protein drinks were getting to be too much.

I don't have a sweet tooth anyway, so I'm definitely relying on the non-sweet stuff I can have.

Happy weekend, menu friends!

Vegas; woohoo! Have fun!

QOTD: I was actually supposed to go to the movies yesterday with my friend and her son, to see Peter Rabbit, but I was feeling sick so had to cancel. So the last movie was a few weeks ago; Jumanji in 3D. I am a huge nerd and loved it.

I spent the day in bed yesterday, freezing my butt off. I slept all day long and thought I'd be up all night but fell asleep early and slept until 11 today. I haven't slept so much since I was a teenager. I still feel flu like today; all sore and light headed, but better than yesterday. I'm still freezing though.

Accountability: OK except for a half cup of Halo Top for my throat. It was my first time trying it as it isn't available in Canada; my parents bought it for me when they went across the river. It is so delicious! Yum!

Menu:

Breakfast: Decaf and premier protein, cottage cheese, blueberries.

Lunch: 1 egg omelette with cheese, 2 slices bacon.

Supper: Unsure; possibly ground beef or shrimp.

Snack: Quest Cravings peanut butter cup.

Ex: possibly a walk if I feel better. Still feeling crappy though so not sure.

Pre-Op Visit: Jan. 10, 2017, weight 304, surgeon: Dr. David Lindsay, St. Joe's, Toronto

1st Day of (3 weeks worth of) Optifast: Jan. 11, 2017

Surgery Date: Feb. 1st, 2017
