3 Days Post-op-getting ready to go home
i had my surgery on 2-6 and everything went well. They fixed the Hiatal Hernia and did the RNY. The post-op pain is minimal. I am excited about going home and starting my journey!!!!
Congrats on your surgery! The pain level varies alot for different people, so I am glad that it hasn't been too bad for you.
Remember to get lots of rest and walk and drink as much as possible. The walking really does help. You might have to go slow and not be able to go very far, but keep at it several times a day. It will help your body recover and your systems to work better.

Awesome news!
The next three weeks are going to be a blast as you watch the scale free fall - then you'll hit your 3 week stall and all most all of us kind of freak out even if we KNOW it's coming! Be kind to yourself, follow your doctor's guidance! The very best things you can do for your body is to walk, get in your protein (needed to mend the tissues in your body) and sip sip sip those fluids!
