Anyone's feet NOT get smaller after surgery?
I keep hearing about people going down a shoe size after WLS, but I'm wondering if that's the case for everyone. My feet are average width and fairly thin (and big! women's size 11) and I'm wondering if "non-chubby" feet change size. When I was pregnant, my feet grew lengthwise from a 10 to an 11, but didn't grow in width.
I ask this because I have quite the large collection of cool running shoes and I'd hate to have to get rid of them.
No shoe size change for me (size 10). Possibly there is a little more give on some shoes but not enough to change size.

Sorry size 12 going in, still a size 12. They are thinner, so I pretty much had to get rid of all my stretched out shoes...and it is easier to find shoes because I am always a medium width.
Running shoes because they are lace up, you might get away with but depending on how much you need to lose you might find yourself needing to get rid of them eventually.... or even better wearing them out because you are running so much!
