What's on your Menu today (Monday) RNYers?
busy busy weekend whi*****luded two trips to grocery store and to home depot. and a few online purchases of course.I now have cextra closet rods up and part of my clothes on them. also have the stuff for the chicken coop, new toilets, and a new kitchen faucet/sprayer and 2 pot racks. I think there is more there we did this weekend also. we are going to get our chickies today thank goodness. didnt notice until yesterday the dude put the coop door on upside down. so now we have to rig it closed.
QOTD: hmm not sure on that. we did buy a dyson vaccum over christmas and I'm liking that a lot.
food for the most part was fine. I have not found my proper scale yet. hopefully in the next 2 days I can. Have not weighed in over a week.

Good morning Daisy and menu crew- busy weekend for us as well. We traveled to the Thousand Islands region for Ryleys hockey, his team won the tourney. We visited several vineyards, a distillery and a brewery. Ugh...LOL. This is a nice region and not far from you Daisy? Across from Kingston.

Good morning menu folks! It's awhoppig 4 here right now so Lily and I are waiting til about 10 to walk. We wil do 4 miles ten and I'll do another miille on the treadmill after supper cleanup. I ae housewor to do today and an apointent with my rheumatologist at 1:30. Have a couple stops to make on the way there too. QOTD magic erasers are my favorite. Post op 5 years 5 monts and weight at 118 today. Accoountability was good as I knitted all evening--even though I would rather have snacked. Heres todays fod B 1/2 c steel cut oats with protein and peanut butter L 31/2 oz leftover baked fish 1/2 c sweet potatoes D 4 oz beef patty 1/2 c sweet potatoes S 2 oz graze pprotein power mix (200 cal). Karen, I keep meaning to ask you what you do to avoid boredom when you walk on the treadmill. I will have to start back there after surgery and know that it can drive me nuts.

My best trick for the treadmill is to take a sweatshirt and cover up the time and mileage count. I feel like every minute is an hour when I am watching the time, but when I am not focused on it, it goes by a lot faster.
Also--podcasts! I have a million to recommend if you are interested.
Please send podcasts my way as well. I love them...
