Morning IF and weekend crew! I've been on my run (it was COLD) and Showered am am back in bed. Today I need to grocery shop- and I may buy a necklace. I have a yellow gold necklace and I want a white gold one cause sterling silver is too annoying to keep looking new. I will continue working on my work project from home too.

Qotd: my favorite gadget is a utensil used to break up ground beef. I won't use a fork in my non-stick pans, so this thingy is awesome. The kids love the air fryer- though I don't get much use out of it. And I'm learning to love my food processor. Our waffle iron still get regular use for the kids.

205 today, 2.9 Years out

M1: Greek yogurt, berries, protein bar

m2: shrimp or Jamaican beef pattie

m3: 1/2 ham sandwich

m4: sloppy Joe's

I just found hamburger mashers on Amazon. Who knew something like that existed (clearly not me)? Thanks for mentioning it.

It really is a handy little thing. I looked on amazon and saw more updated styles, I was tempted to order one.

Mornin' Everyone!

I have to work today - boo. And it's supposed to snow this afternoon - double boo. I hope the streets are OK on the way home...I hate driving on slippery roads!! Hopefully I'll have enough to keep me occupied today. Otherwise, because of a number of factors (it's a Saturday, it's very early in the semester, and it's going to snow today), it could make for a V-E-R-Y long and boring day...

accountability was on target yesterday

QOTD: I use my Kitchenaid blender and my Instant Pot several times a week. I also love my immersion blender when it's needed (e.g., to puree soups), but I don't use that as much - maybe a couple times a month. I just bought a spiralizer last weekend (it's an OXO) and used it to make zoodles last Sunday - loved it. Will probably make zoodles again tomorrow.

2 years 8 months out today!

B: homemade Greek yogurt with 1/2 scoop chocolate protein powder, 2 T Crio Bru grounds, and fresh raspberries

MS: coffee with half & half, protein/Miralax shake

L: 1 C cottage cheese

AS: either 2 T peanut butter with celery sticks or L&F yogurt

D: taco meat with lettuce, tomatoes, salsa, and plain Greek yogurt

probably a piece of crustless protein pumpkin pie later on this evening - or raw veggies with Greek yogurt dip

Good morning menu friends! It was 25 here at 6 when Lily and I headed out for our four miles and we had a great walk. I'll do another mile after supper cleanup is done. I have to put finishing touches on a sermon for church tomorrow. I'm a bit nervous as the pastor and my hubby will both be there and they've never heard me preach. I'll just be myself though and God will pull it together and make it work out for good. I don't make a fully written out manuscript just an outline with main ideas and verses to tie in and sometimes I barely follow that.. Hubby saw the doctor for his shoulder yesterday and he doesn't feel he needs surgery at this point. There is a tiny tear in the rotator cuff but since he's not 18 or a professional athlete he thinks it should heal on its own. He was more worried about the bony spurs from arthritis and gave him a steroid injection and an order for PT. He said it would be fine to do our trip to Louisiana in March and Tennesee in April and he's to see him again when we get back. If he's still having issues he will go in arthroscopically and clean out the bone spurs. So good news overall and the trip is still on. If we get there and can't do the second 3 weeks in Tennessee we can always step out for medical reasons. These are all older people(at 58 we are the youngest) and they understand these things. QOTD my most used gadgets are my Keurig,my food processor for making peanut butter and my spiralizer. Accountability was good as I was busy. Post op 5 years 5 months and weight at 118 today. Heres the food plan B 1/2c steel cut oats with protein and peanut butter added L (out) 4 oz burger no bun with lettuce and pickles D 31/2oz strip steak 1/2 c sweet potatoes(haven't had these in forever and can't wait!)S serving of roasted chickpeas(170 cal). Have a great day everyone and make some smart and mindful choices! And a pic of me today just because says the woman with 1 before picture!o
