What's on your menu today (Thursday) RNYers?
Good morning! Actually a pretty great one so far. The walk was good, the coffee was better. So good in fact, I might finish this bottle of water and go make another.
Menu: B: Protein bar at work, and a coffee, full octane.
MS: 1/2 cup cottage cheese and cucumber chopped, 1/2 can tuna
L: Shake (see below)
AS: same as MS
S: Unknown
Decaf, water water water. And a handful of vitamins. Pro tip: Don't take a chewable vitamin C moments after brushing your teeth. It was nearly an hour before that taste finally left my mouth. Blah!!!
QOTD: The only label I have handy is for my Protein shake, so I'll leave the details in the pics. It's got a good breakdown though, and tastes OK in my books.
Good morning everyone!
I spent yesterday filling out dental and vision paperwork to transfer our coverage as our COBRA is ending in a few days. Nothing I hate worse than filling out forms and talking to insurance companies. Taken care of now though.
Accountability has been on point the last couple days.
qotd: I have nothing ...sorry. I am enjoying see others recommendations though.
Menu
B: egg whites, green pepper, onion and 2 oz. of ham scramble. 1 tablespoon taco sauce for kick.
L: 4 oz. turkey and 1 slice Swiss cheese
D: 4 oz. fajita beef meat and 2 slices 2% American cheese melted on top.

Good morning - great morning actually! I received 'the' form letter from my son at boot camp with the rules and his address yesterday. The best part was he slipped in this tiny note:
My heart is so full and all is right in my world
QOTD - products I love are all things Trader Joe's and have already been covered here!! I don't eat many other prepackaged things - although I will check out Costco a little closer on my next visit! The occasional protein bar maybe - recently discovered the Quest birthday cake flavor is amazing, the best by far but I shouldn't be eating them at all! I eat mostly of eggs, chicken, hot italian sausage and tuna!
Accountability - on plan!
14 mo post op
b-coffee w/hc/splenda, HB eggs
l-tuna and beef jerky
d-chicken thighs
v/l - on track
e-walk
Have a wonderful day!!

Mornin' All!
well, that "Water in Motion" class last night kicked my butt. I was really feeling it this morning. Normally, Aqua Zumba is a lot more intense, but this instructor was really good. I may start going to this class regularly. That would mean Aqua Zumba on Sunday nights, and this other class on Wed nights - perfect! This morning I did 30 minutes on the cross trainer - so feeling pretty good right now!
Working remotely this morning - meetings this afternoon - then my book discussion group tonight. I've actually finished the whole book for once, so I can't wait for the meeting!
accountability was OK yesterday. I was at 1420 kcal until late last night (1500 is my limit), but I was famished. I usually just ignore it, but I had a piece of crustless protein pumpkin pie with 2 T of SF Cool Whip on it (one of my go-to snacks), so that brought my calories up to 1520 - so not bad. Still, I wish I would have just ignored it...
QOTD: I make a lot of things from scratch (including yogurt) since I don't mind cooking. I usually make a couple of things on the weekends that we eat all week for lunches and dinners. I do like Trader Joe's High Fiber Cereal, though. It sort of tastes like cardboard if you eat it plain, but it provides a good crunch if you put a couple of tablespoons on your yogurt - and the stats are better on it than they are on granola (well, I always used Kashi granola, which has better stats than normal granola..but still, TJ's High Fiber Cereal is even better...at least calorie- and fiber-wise). I also make the crustless protein pumpkin pie recipe that was on OH before Thanksgiving about once a week (although this is not a commercial product, of course...). It's great in a pinch when I'm craving something sweet at night. It's 84 kcal and 11 grams of protein a slice, which is about the same as L&F yogurt, and with a couple of tablespoons of SF Cool Whip (which kind of makes it, IMHO), that's still only 100 kcal, so not bad)
