Good morning! I had a terrible time trying to sleep last night... I crashed hard when I got home at 8:30pm last night, but have been awake for the better part of the night since midnight. I finally fell back asleep for a 1/2 hour this morning, but had a nightmare about someone leaving us threatening messages in the house. This is going to be a long day!
Accountability: I was in a 2 hour meeting with a dozen gourmet doughnuts sitting in front of me. AND I DIDN'T EAT ANY! Not even a crumb :) I have really been working hard to decrease carbs and increase fat and it is helping with cravings, a lot. The rest of the day was good too, but I did have some potato chips with dinner out last night.
QOTD: Great question--I hope I can get some time to come back and see other people's suggestions. You need to being me some of those eg bakes when you come! Yum! Here are mine:
First--if you ever actually read my menu you see this for breakfast every morning. I mix it into my hot coffee almost every day.
Second, Basil and Garlic Chicken Meatballs. Super tasty and awesome stats. I get a double pack at Costco.
Next, Chicken Skewers (also available at Costco). They are super tasty! Sometimes I eat them right off the stick, but I usually chop them up and mix with roasted veggies or a sauce.
Last, Trader Joe's Turkey Meatballs. I pretty much lived on these in the first few years of my lapband. They are moist and yummy.
I had seen the TJ's meatballs on your menu and bought some. I too have enjoyed them.

Ok I have like a zillion recommendations for Trader Joe's if you are going!
Basically go buy every pre-packaged meat they sell in the refrigerated section. Roast turkey breast, Lemon Pepper Grilled Chicken, "Just Chicken" and Balsamic Rosemary Grilled Chicken are amazing! So is the pre-packaged Roast Beef. They also have interested flavors of veggie burgers with awesome stats (like Thai and Pizza flavors). Also, you can't beat their prices on frozen fish! Last, their nut aisle is amazing--totally worth stocking up there. I love the Dry Salted Almonds more than any other almonds I have ever eaten.
thanks so much!!! I will totally check all that out

And don't forget the Everything But the Bagel seasoning.... MMMMM... goes great on so many things, especially egg salad!

I really like their frozen fish "burgers". I keep their salmon and tuna on hand all the time. My store also used to carry Mahi Mahi burgers that were great and easy to prep. They also have some other frozen fish that are easy to prep and yummy. I like the Soy Ginger cod and Vera Cruz Swai and swordfish. Lots of yummy and healthy things at TJ's.

Great finds JB, the Basil and garlic meatballs and chicken skewers are not found in the frozen section, correct? I am going to have to look for these! Thanks!
