Good day everyone. I am currently 6mo P.O. RNY and have been stuck at 200# for 2mo ..help what am I doing wrong?

What can I do to help myself along? I upped my B12 and have been super down in the dumps and have been doing a super great job of hiding it :/ (sarcasm)

I'm new to the group /forum and hope to make new friends and get advice from all over.

I'll keep it short for now.. have a great one and thank u in advance.

If you post a sample of your daily menu, either here or on the menu thread, people may be able to trouble shoot for you and give you some ideas on how you can change things up!

Yup! What Stacy said... be honest with us, and yourself on what you eat. Because unless we see what you're actually eating, it's hard to help you.

Also, weigh and measure your food... use an app like My Fitness Pal and start calculating every single bite that goes into your mouth... don't drink things with calories in them (except for perhaps a protein shake)... don't drink anything with, or for 30-45 minutes after, you eat. Most all of us eat a very low carb diet, especially during the honeymoon (12-18 months) period to get as much weight off as possible during that time. After that, it gets harder.

Welcome! Winter time is hard for me with the 'blues'... so I totally get it. Also, you've dumped a lot of hormones here lately since surgery, that also affects our moods. Hang in there, and if you need to get something to help you, don't hesitate!

Hi Rose! So glad you're here!

TO add a photo click on the little flower-like icon on the top right of the screen. A menu drops down. Select the top option, "My Account". Next to your username you'll see a button which says "Add Photo". Upload it there, then just copy and paste into this thread. Good luck with everything!

Good for you recognizing you have the blues. They suck.

Emotions can really suck after surgery. We all think they are fixed after having surgery. I know I did.

I suffer from depression and anxiety. I take medication for both.

Seeking professional help is not a bad thing. It is good to reach out.

Coming here for support and giving support does help us.

Best wishes to you.
