What's on your Menu Today (Tuesday) RNYers?
Hello menu friends!
Work is intense and I'm not getting on here much to do a lot of catching up. I did read the first "page" of posts today and will try to catch up more tonight. On the up side, after being in the 140s since mid October, I finally saw a magical 3 on the scale this morning!!! I haven't let myself fret over my slow weight loss because I have been working out, building muscle and losing inches, and the weight is slooooowly coming down - but OMG it was nice to see the 130s!!!
QOTD: I loved digging tunnels in the big snow piles left by the plows. I also loved sledding- the front campus at Kent State has a great hill and we would all go there on snow days and sled all day long! My family also used to go to a friends lake house a few nights every winter, and we would ice skate on the lake, there would be a big bonfire in the center of the skating area and a few torches for lighting in the darker corners. It was always great time!
Accountability: Yesterday was better than planned, mostly because I made myself go for a 3 mile run and kicked my own butt so hard I was too tired to eat much afterwards!

Exercise: Today I'm basically calling it a rest day. I have walked up the 32 floors here at work, and at lunch I walked to the rec center and used just 4 of the machines (shoulders and lats) then took a stretching class.

I didn't grow up with much snow and fortunately it's uncommon here in Seattle. Really cold weather is unpleasant to me.
I ate cauliflower mashed potatoes with meat, yogurt, coffee, and I'll have something else before I go to bed.
I thought BLT's meant the sandwich. Which I hope is my last meal on this earth.
