I had the sleeve done at 19, I'm now 22 and due to regain and awful acid reflux that has given me stomach ulcers and SO much pain, I will be getting the bypass in July. Just looking for anyone whos gone through a revision. Is life much different now than after the sleeve? I'm nervous for more life changes I may need to make.

Not myself, but someone just posted this morning asking the same thing. Scroll down a couple posts from yours on the board and make some friends :)

VSG on 05/12/14

I revised from VSG to RNY 7/2016. My life is not much different. The biggest difference is that I ended up with Dumping Syndrome and I have reactive hypoglycemia. If I stick to a protein forward diet with limited processed carbs, I'm usually good to go (that's somewhat of an oversimplification, but works for me 80% of the time). There are no foods that I could eat with VSG that I can't with RNY and I don't feel any different. My revision eliminated about 80% of my acid, but it is now controllable with medication. Good luck with the revision!!!
