What's on your Menu today (Monday) RNYers?
Love the pic and the story! We occasionally see bald eagles here too! Lately it has been moose sitings in the area. We have had a lot of turkeys at our house too. I love all the wildlife!

I love it too! My father in law is a wildlife photographer. I am also a photographer but I do portraits. He gifted me the zoom lens for Christmas and I didn't think I'd ever use it (since my subjects generally know they are being photographed and don't run off into the distance...) FIL was there yesterday but didn't have his camera, which NEVER happens. He was dying that I got the shots and he didn't :P

Mornin' All!
Saturday was a disaster (too many nuts & salty snacks at a party I was at), but the rest of the weekend was OK. Weight was up four pounds yesterday (yikes!) but back down two this morning - two more to go. Hopefully it'll be gone within the next day or two...
this will be the last fairly manageable wee****il the classes start coming over to library next week. Then it'll be crazy until probably mid-March. Oh well - at least it'll go fast. Meanwhile, I'll try to get some of my back burner projects done this week while I have the time - and/or do some book-buying remotely (can't really work remotely once the classes start coming over - I rarely have more than a couple of hours of office time at a pop during that season - not enough to sneak away for a spell...)
So over the weekend I made some marinara sauce in my Instant Pot. Thought I'd have it with some meatballs I had in my freezer. I was just going to eat the sauce & meatballs in a bowl, when it occurred to me I could make zoodles. So I went out and bought a spiralizer yesterday. OMG you guys - my life has changed! This has opened up so many new possibilities!! I'm so excited!!
QOTD: kind of in the middle, I guess. At one time I would have considered myself kluttzy, but after years of yoga and these balance exercises I do every day for physical therapy, I'm not really so much anymore...
2 years 7 months out:
B: homemade Greek yogurt with extra (chocolate) protein powder, Crio Bru grounds, and raspberries
MS: coffee with half & half, protein/Miralax chocolate latte shake
L: 2 beef snack sticks, L&F yogurt
AS: 2 T peanut butter on celery sticks
D: I'm thinking of making taco meat with ground turkey breast and having that with the fixin's (tomatoes, lettuce, shredded cheddar, plain Greek yogurt (stand in for sour cream))
if I'm hungry later and have enough calories left over, then a piece of crustless protein pumpkin pie or another L&F yogurt
hey all-
We are in the house- We made it! The rain started just as the movers were finishing up. I have boxes everywhere!!!
Took today off to meet internet person, chicken pen guy, etc. I DID find my spices, coffee stuff, flax, eggs, and went to my new grocery store yesterday and that was fun! I like exploring :)
QOTD: clumsy and I think my balance is off since my RNY.
Food for today:
coffee

BBQ for lunch/homemade coleslaw
