Good morning weekenders! OH has swallowed my post twice but I'll try again.

I don't know what I ate that was different but my bowels are in an uproar this morning. I had planned on a long swim and some other weight and ab work. No going to the pool though until this straightens out.

Yesterday I did more than an hour of laps and then an Aqua Zumba class. I felt so much more relaxed after a stressful week. I needed that relief!

Not much planned for today, at least until I feel better.

Menu: We'll see what I can eat today. LOTS of fluids though and maybe an extra protein shake.

Mornin' All!

OMG my weight was 150 this morning - I *never* wanted to see that number again, EVER! I think it's due to the Chinese food on Friday night (sodium hell) and this party I went to last night to celebrate my yoga studio's 6th anniversary. My Friday calories were OK (so I do think it was the sodium), but I blew it last night at the party. I ended up having just over 2000 kcal yesterday. Horrible! It was probably a good thing the scale said 150 this morning, as I otherwise might not have taken it so seriously (I was 146 earlier in the week). I'm tempted not to eat for the next freaking week, but then, that's not the way to do it. I just need to be overly cautious the next few days and cut back on my calorie budget a bit to boot. And make sure I'm doing high protein and cut way back on the carbs. This should work its way out. I hope. I haven't eaten breakfast yet (I usually have yogurt around 6:30, and it's already almost 8:30 - I've just had coffee), but I really need to eat something - I need the protein and I need to take my fat-soluble vitamins...

QOTD: the yoga studio party last night was fun. They had it in this really great, huge coffee shop on the other side of town that I'd totally forgotten about. It's typically open late on Thurs, Fri, and Sat evenings - new hangout!! Plus it was fun to see so many of the other people who are in my classes and get to know them a little. I could have done without the snacks, though. I didn't go crazy with them, but on the other hand, as mentioned above, I was way over calories for the day. Too many nuts and snacky things.

today I plan to go to my usual Sunday morning meditation class, and I've got to look at some eyeglass frames. I need to get glasses for both reading and distance (I can't stand bifocals - and I rarely use glasses for reading, although when you need 'em, you need 'em). I've been sitting on this forever!! Our Aqua Zumba instructor is out today (there's a regular water aerobics instructor who's subbing, but I don't like that as well - not as intense), so I may go to a yoga class tonight instead. DH wants to go to a movie, but I think I'll punt that - they have popcorn there. Don't want to risk it. Maybe another weekend....

B: Greek yogurt with extra protein powder & raspberries, coffee with half & half

L: 2 T peanut butter on celery sticks (??) (PB holds me over for a very long time....)

AS: raw veggies with Greek yogurt dip

D: meatballs with homemade marinara sauce
