Morning! I settled on a shorter 4-mile run today since it's raining. I'm about to make breakfast and start my laundry. Going to continue working on work stuff today. And yesterday my husband & I got nominated to be the marriage ministry leaders for his church. So I've got to iron out a vision and structure for the coming months.
Accountability: so today marks the completion of my first month of my year long plan. (I've sketched out a certain treat for each month. (in an effort to manage the not so good for you things). This first month was salty/crunchy treats, on odd-days of the month only. I stuck to it 100%, and my mind was at ease knowing I could pass up cookies, cake etc, b/c a month will come when I can have those. I didn't do as well as I wanted with portion control- but it didn't have any impact. February's treat is chocolate (yay!), on even days only. I'm totally sick of pretzels and chips now too, so the timing I'm using works well for me. It probably sounds crazy- but this is working very well for me.
Qotd: last thing I did for fun? Hmmm...I have to think to hard for that. Probably the anniversary trip to Chicago with hubby- the whole thing went great and was fun.

Good Morning Erin and Menu Family!
QOTD: Yesterday I went on an hour horseback ride at the park / lake. It was a fairly nice day in the 40's and I got to ride my favorite horse, Sugar! We saw a flock of Canadian geese on the lake and some people out on the lake ice fishing and some ice skating. I got to feed Sugar some treats when we were done riding. I'm hoping to video chat with Saralisa later on today.
Smoke started pouring out of my microwave last night and I had to throw it away and go buy a new one! I'm glad I was standing right beside the microwave when that happened so I could turn it off before it burst into flames!
Accountability: Yesterday: Protein - 68, Calories - 1,195, Carbs - 124.
B: prosciutto & mozzarella sticks, light & fit Greek yogurt
L: spinach & tomato linguini
D: general tso's spicy chicken

Have a FANTASTIC day everyone!

I'm so glad that you got out yesterday and had some fun! Also grateful that there wasn't a fire with your microwave.
