What's on your Saturday menu RNYers?

Happy Saturday, menu friends!

I'm having a relaxing day, just sipping on decaf with premier protein as I read the posts here. My Mom's birthday is on the 30th and she wants to go for wings today so that's what we're doing. Yesterday she went to a seafood buffet at the casino, and i think tomorrow she's going for Chinese. She invited me but I'm not sure I trust myself at a Chinese buffet yet; I love all of those sweet foods too much and can't have sugar.

QOTD: One of my most surprising NSV's is how I sit cross legged all the time now, even when on a kitchen chair. I don't mean the sexy lady like legs crossed position; I mean the weird both legs pretzeled together like kids sitting on the floor position. I don't even notice I"m doing it, and think I do it because my feet get so cold that they feel warmer up off the floor, lol.

Accountability: I had a very hungry day yesterday and stayed up super late ****il 3:30 AM) and ate some Swiss cheese and a pickle after midnight.

Menu:

Breakfast: Decaf with premier protein (1 have one for breakfast and one before lunch), blackberries.

Lunch: Pepperette, Cheese string

Supper: Wings! I'll order plain and get hot sauce on the side to dip them in.

Snacks: strawberries with Greek yogurt, pickle, cheese.

Pre-Op Visit: Jan. 10, 2017, weight 304, surgeon: Dr. David Lindsay, St. Joe's, Toronto

1st Day of (3 weeks worth of) Optifast: Jan. 11, 2017

Surgery Date: Feb. 1st, 2017

Howdy,

Working today (my travel agency) as it is the high season for travel so I am booking lots of vacations!

Let me know if anyone wants a vacation! LOL

QOTD: WOW, so many NSV's. Since I started at a lower BMI being a revision, I may be taking some of the NSV for granted since I maintained at least 2/3 of my weight loss over 15 years. However, I woke up the other morning in the dark, put on a pair of pants in my closet and later realized they were a size 12. I haven't been there in a while. I am now almost at my adult lowest weight since my teens and dont have clothes in my closest that fit. Still waiting to see what the bottom weight will be although I am 2 pounds from original goal.

Food for the day:

Isopure protein shake and lots of coffee

Hamburger with cheese slice 96% ff meat

Snack: cheese stick

Dinner: Have no idea

Snack: Yogurt

Not counting calories for the moment, just keto and portion control

Hello folks! Late as usual here!

My house is utter chaos right now, with boxes everywhere! I have my work cut out for me this weekend too - taxes, orders, and what seems interminable packing. One good thing is that I found something today that I have literally been missing for years! The little joys of moving, amidst the huge PITA of moving!

QOTD: It's so nice to begin to recognize myself in the mirror again! My face has thinned a bit, thank goodness! I still have 80+ lbs. to lose, and of course that shows, but I do look better than before surgery, which is such a relief. I really wasn't sure what I was going to look like under those massive layers of fat! But I actually still look like myself even though I wasted 8.5 years being SMO, and am that much older. And I just feel so much better! I was walking a while ago and felt myself really just swinging along with long, easy strides, light, smooth, and enjoyable. Previously my tread had become so ponderous, heavy, slow, aged, and painful. Big difference! I'm still not wearing heels but in a while you can bet I will be! Looking forward to the shoe shopping! I used to wear heels all the time, but almost never over the past few years - i will have to learn how all over again!

First: tea with cashew milk & To rank SF salted caramel syrup. Then a vanilla protein drink.

B: roast beef, cheddar

L: turkey, a little broccoli

D: BBQ pulled pork, possibly a few green beans

Snack: possibly a SF popsicle.

Enjoy your Saturday, RnYers!
