Great job on the no BLTs. They are dangerous, like really dangerous. Its so amazing when you go back in MFP and add up all the BLTs how much a bite of this, a taste of that adds up in the calorie department.

One evening a few weeks ago I have having a "big pouch" hungry day. It was after dinner and I was running around the house doing chores, washed bed sheets, did dishes, made lunches, cleaned out the fridge and hubby was like "what's with the frenzy of chores?" I told him if my hands are busy and I am busy then I am not in the kitchen snacking and grazing and taking a bite of this or taste of that. It really helps me, hard as heck to do but it works!

mmmmmm scallops!!! YUMMMM

Good Morning and Happy Friday-Eve! Daisy, I am sorry your weather has you feeling blue-when do you anticipate warmer temps? It was raining when I left the house and gym this morning but I think it's supposed to clear up by around 8 or so.

Accountability: One of my employees brought me protein cake bites when she came back from lunch yesterday, yup I ate them. In the evening I had a banana and handful of nuts.

QOTD: Hubby already has the day off so maybe we would get in the car and head to the beach or catch a movie at the theater, but relaxing would definitely be part of the day. Your ideal day sounds glorious.

Absolutely! She was next door to GNC and made a special trip in there for a treat for me, she's a gem.

Canadian winters can be harsh and long and this year I am just ready for some sun. I am tired of the bitter cold and grey days. That fact that you say that you & hubby might go to the beach tomorrow makes me so jealous!

I love the cake bites, at least that was a good protein choice instead of say a bowl of ice cream!

Great job on the exercise, you are such a strong woman!

Smiling back at you girl

Maybe you need a vacation in a warm climate? We used to take a week in February to come here to Florida to visit friends some years and it was always a welcome break. However the challenges of flying in and out of the Northeast with winter weather involved didn't thrill me. We never went in January so it was ALWAYS a long month.

QOTD: if I had been given a surprise day I probably would have just relaxed too. Binge watched TV and cuddled with my old dogs (well one now).

1 year, 10 months post-op

B: eggs, cottage cheese and Canadian bacon

L: Tuna salad, pickles and cottage cheese (or Emiepie egg salad)

D: leftover no-noodle lasagna or appetizer at local restaurant

S: yogurt
