What's on your menu today (Thursday) RNYers?
hmm, I've never cooked it. I always just slice it and eat it. I'm going to try that.

Good morning menu peeps! A nice day here in Illinois and hubby and I are heading out to our local state park after lunch for a few days. I'll be MIA here til Tuesday morning but Lily and I are excited to get some trail hiking in. We'll do our 4 miles this afternoon up there around the lake and marsh and all around through the woods. We'll be the only campers so plenty of peace and quiet and hopefully a nice campfire or two. QOTD hubby and I don't work so every day is a day off. I am jealous of your freedom to just pick up and go off on an adventure in your RV. I do want that right now! Hope you three have tons of fun, I know Lily will be in heaven on those hikes with you Karen.
Its been said many times before but your transformation is just amazing. You are such a valued member of OH and our menu thread for support, advice and showing newbies how to live the post op like and that the struggle is real, thanks for all of that Karen.
Congrats on your success and I raise a cup of protein coffee to your continued success!
Enjoy your travels, and you look great!

Good morning everyone!
Our internet and wifi have been out until now.
qotd: retired so always home. Fill my days taking care of my four fur babies, taking care of our home, doing some knitting, crocheting and quilting, watch a little tv and do some DIY puttering. I still seem to have more do in a day than there are hours.
Menu
B: egg, ham and cheese scramble
L and D not sure.....going grocery shopping today....protein forward though and carbs as low as I can go.

who can live without wife & internet, that's barbaric! Kidding! how did we live before computers/iphones/cable TV?
Mornin' All!
No meetings or desk shifts today or tomorrow (YAY!), so I may start off the morning working from a coffee shop. Will hit the gym en route and do 30 minutes on the cross-trainer - and maybe do the upper body weight machines. However, I need to get cracking so I can fit all this in. I have a massage scheduled for later this afternoon - AHHHHHH...
accountability was great yesterday. I'm feeling waterlogged this morning, though - probably because I had cottage cheese for lunch and two cups of instant miso soup as a snack (both very salty!). At least feeling bloated might keep me from straying off plan today...
QOTD: I'd sleep in 'til 7:00, eat a leisurely breakfast, get on my computer for awhile, then go to a morning yoga or Aqua Zumba class. Then I'd head out for coffee with my laptop and newspaper in tow. I'd probably come home for lunch, then nap or read (I'm reading a great book for my book discussion group - we (and I) usually don't read fiction, but this book is really engrossing! ("The Underground Railroad" by Colson Whitehead)). I'd probably figure out something fun to make in my Instant Pot for dinner, too. Not sure what else....I kind of treasure lying around time these days. Not much time to do that otherwise...
2 years 7 months out:
B: homemade Greek yogurt with raspberries
MS: coffee with half & half, protein/Miralax shake
L: L&F yogurt, 2 T peanut butter on celery sticks
AS: raw veggies with Greek yogurt dip
D: either pulled pork or ham & bean soup, salad
if I'm hungry later and have enough calories left over, then another L&F yogurt or a piece of crustless protein pumpkin pie
