hi all

QOTD: well tomm technically I am OFF !! lol but I would sleep in, go clothes shopping, eat a nice lunch, tons and tone of stops at dunkin, starbucks, then veg and watch tv.

Food today is a little sketchy. trying not to 'cook' things as they are now in boxes so that is a bit hard. coffee is a requirement though. i slept but mind was racing a lot. too much to do today. might just be sleeping on a mattress tonight instead of a hotel depending if we get done. and I have to work a full day so it may be a challenge.

I did find out that I don't eat my feelings when i'm stressed. I actually have something to focus on OTHER than food for once and actually drop weight. shocker to figure that one out. bring on the stress lololol!!!

I am so excited for your move Hillary and can't wait until you are ready to post pic of your new digs.

I am just like you, I don't stress eat, when I am stressed I totally lose my appetite. Now when I am bored that is a different story, I can eat my weight in crap when I am bored!

Getting so close!!! Woot Woot!

I think it's awesome that you've learned something so important about yourself... so once things settle down, and you find yourself thinking about food too much, you know what to do... start a new project that involves lots of physical and brain power!

Good morning Daisy and menu folks! I have really been out of sorts for a few days. I think it is because I am in hold mode for the surgery and because I am still in some pain from my dental surgery. Only coffee and fruit and nuts are tasting good to me right now, but I am still trying to get in a couple of ounces of dense protein several times a day anyway plus lots of fluids. I hope that things will normalize once I am less stressed. In the meantime, I will persevere to stay on plan as much as possible.

QOTD: If I had a free day off I would love to go to some art museums and have a nice lunch there, but honestly, I would just hide under the covers and sleep with the cats right now.

Menu:

Breakfast: oatmeal, ham

Snack: Cappuccino protein shake

Lunch: fish, salad

Snack: cheddar cheese, apple

Dinner: turkey breast, baby carrots

Exercise: swimming and deep water aerobics

I think you are so strong for dealing with all this tooth pain! I fear & loathe the dentist when I have to get work done. I can sit for a cleaning but if they have to bring out the drill I go into full panic attack mode.

If you only want to eat fruit & nuts & coffee then that's okay. For now you can get your protein from shakes. But just remember you need to go into your big surgery healthy and not underweight. You need good ferritin numbers and good protein for your body to heal. I know easier said than done but this is a major surgery and you need to be prepared and healthy.

I think sleeping and being with your cats sounds like an awesome kind of day off!
