Ryley checked in with us last evening and was excited as they went to a Middle Eastern restaurant ( He is representing the UAE) and really enjoyed it. He is a very fussy eater at home!

OMG Daisy - I have the visual, our fur babies are such big babies. Do they lie next to one another as well?

Thank you Daisy - I have been amazed thus far, it seems that I am burning fat where I had previously ignored the areas. I was always intimidated to lift weights as I am not a muscle head by any means. I finally realized, I am almost 50, do not need to impress anyone and needed to change up my routine. The biggest advantage thus far is that I am actually eating more than previous and because of that I have stopped grazing when I get home from the gym, Thanks for your kind words!

Hah..Sounds like our dogs. We have a 10# mini dachshund, and a 110# Rottie. The dach ALWAYS sleeps with our son and when he is not here he's in our bed. The Rottie sleeps on our bathroom floor in our bedroom BUT if she knows the dachshund is in my bed shes up there too.. Or tries to be.

I love cooking with liquid aminos also. I use them when I saute zucchini.

We had our two Boxers and my little Yorkie, for years, sleeping with us. We all had our 'spots' and we worked it out. Now that we've lost the two Boxers and gained a 70lb American Bulldog, we are still working with her to teach her HER spot! She takes up more room than the two Boxers ever did! The Yorkie sleeps next to me all snuggled up in a tiny little spot. Cam likes to sleep kicking my husband all night long!

I hope Ryley is having a fantastic time! What a great opportunity!

I've watched a few episodes of The Good Doctor, and I have the rest on the DVR. I have enjoyed it so far, and I need to catch up on it!

You are rocking your new routine! Proud of you!

So you guys will laugh: I'm thinking of volunteering at the local animal shelter because I miss having dogs around, BUT I'm afraid I won't be able to resist keeping one of them. I wanted to wait until at least after our 3-4 week trip in September. I've already fallen in love with the pictures of at least a couple of them!

Glad your eats are getting better Karen. Just a friendly reminder that missing Saralisa and being lonely or upset you can't find comfort in a bag of chips or cake or cookies. If anything you will feel even worse if you start to put on weight due to poor eating choices. You have come so far now and done so well now is the time to find your resilience and put in some good old fashioned hard work to avoid bad foods.

I know the weather sucks right now so find some things to do with your time that are indoors such as Church activities, volunteering at a shelter, be that an animal shelter, woman's shelter, soup kitchen, local newspaper, helping Seniors. And if you don't want to be out then pick a room in your house, just one room and focus on that, tidy, organize, de-clutter. Keep your mind and hands busy. There is always reading a book as well, I can get lost in a good book and hours will pass!

Good luck, you can do this!

Excellent advice, Daisy! Thank you very much! I'd like to surprise Saralisa and get her room organized and cleaned up before she comes home in May and do some more on her photo album. Yes, there are a lot of things I can be doing to keep myself busy! And thank goodness I have those puppies to love on! They keep me from feeling lonely!
