It was very hard. Hurt that I could not be a pall bearer. Joddie and my boys went to the funeral. My Hospital room overlooked Lake Colby and it was snowing most of the day, huge flakes, it was quite beautiful. I swore to myself that I would not look back and I would win my struggle with Obesity. I have not lost that desire!

Hey all! We are on countdown to moving = we got the truck last night. so we will start loading today, movers coming tomm at 10 to load the heavy stuff. the walk thru on both new and old is tomm night so we want it all gone by then. fingers crossed. I keep seeing things to do so get a little anxious.

QOTD: I had this surgery because I wanted a chance to live my life a healthy way. I had been overweight from 5 years old and MO as an adult. I wanted more....

On the food front, I've really been concentrating on mindful eating. waiting till i get that signal then stopping instead of continuing. it has been good and have not been very head hungry so that is good.

food for today: leftovers clean out the freezer/pantry day

grilled nuggets/yogurt coleslaw/romaine

chicken pot pie stuff

crack chicken for dinner

threw lot of stuff out of the fridge last night, really trying to pare this down to essentials to take.

Have a good move and do not over do it! Use proper lifting techniques.
