What's on your menu today (Monday) RNYers?
Good morning Daisy and Low Carb Lovers! ( Love it) Weekend was great, Like you we had some downtime and yesterday we played with Bethany, I was using snowballs to replace a ball and she loved playing catch and then eating the snow. I should have taken video as it was funny. I wish we had a dog park or a good place for me to let her run in an area other than our yard. She is not on a runner or leash but we only have a half acre and she loves to run.
Accountability - Junk = Visible = Issues! Ryley helped to run the Winter ball at school and the UN sold Baked goods, we had a large cookie platter from Costco around the house yesterday. I finally took them out of the platter , out them in a bag and I brought them to work this morning to share, they will be gone b 10 am. I am so weak when it comes to sweets!
QOTD - I love Shark Tank and have seen Dragons den as well. I am amazed at times as there are products that I do not think will get investments that the sharks invest in. I have purchased a Lip balm a couple of years ago that I had seen on Shark tank - Target had " as seen on shark tank " display. I DVR the show and watch it weekly, one of my favorites!
Menu -
B- Hard boiled eggs x 2
S - fage 0% , blueberries and tsp of almond butter.
L - Smoked chicken breast, 100g oven roasted red potatoes with coconut oil.
S - five grain hot cereal and almond butter
D - 90/10 burger no bun and 1/2 c jasmine rice
Pre workout - MTS protein shake
E - Leg workout tonight - will be a late one as Ryley has a meeting at school concerning his upcoming trip to Scotland/Ireland.

I'm right there with you on the sweets,Mike! They are just as yummy to me now as when I was obese. I keep hoping my tastes will change but I'm 51/2 years out so suspect I will always struggle with them. Hubby has a torn rotator cuff,is in pain and very very grumpy and waiting for a surgery date. All our travel plans are probably off and my stress level is to the moom and back. I have a box of sweet snacks for hubby and son calling my name--BUT I will NOT cave in. We can both do this if we take it one conscious choice at a time. My pep talk to you and mostly to me!
Thanks Karen - we are in this together! Sometimes easier said than done, I will grab just a piece and then eat the whole thing!

Morning Menu Peeps!
I had a whirlwind of a weekend, where did it go? I need more time!!!
QOTD: I've watched Shark Tank many times, but it's not on my list of things that I can't miss. Seems like there's been something I've bought that was featured on that show, but right now I can't think of it. My mother in law though, she's a QVC shopper and I know she's purchased things! I wish I had the ingenuity to come up with something though, I applaud those people, and I know many of them go on to become very successful!

S: 1 ounce beef jerky
L: 3.5 ounces of pork chop/ cheese stick
S: 2.5 ounces of ham

Accountability: Struggling to get back to the basics and walk the walk. I've been drinking liquids with my meals and we all know that this is LITERALLY a slippery slope :( I need to go back to the 30 minute time out for liquids, and chewing much more slowly /taking more time. And... I'm back on here :)
Exercise: I'm hoping to bike to work this week now that our cold spell has snapped - I need to air up my tires again and dig out my rain gear! On days I don't bike to work I walk the steps in the office (32 floors) twice a day. I am swimming twice a week (just a KM), and back to lifting weights, now to add in some running!
Neville is growing FAST! He gets cough "tutored" cough next month
