Thanks so much for posting this recipe. Will definitely try it.
hello
QOTD: good question- only 1- and that was squatty potty.it does work lol.
this weekend was a blur of craziness. the chickens have been relocated to their temp home and the coop is demolished- it was so sad to see it go not only as it was $$$ to build but sad all together. 3 more nights in our house and we are gone. we had to make two trips to my sisters to move them all. nephew came yesterday to help and will leave today.
food choices actually could have been worse and better. I did eat part of a leftover 'healthy' cheesecake last night which ended up making me ill. thinking it was a combo of that and the pizza toppings I ate. Anyway i needed to lay down and it was bedtime also so feeling better today.
edited for menu today:
breakfast- leftover steak from saturday with onions and mushrooms
snack- i think romaine lettuce/coleslaw with tuna packet
lunch- maybe more of the same
dinner will be a ham i just made with some veggie from the freezer I need to use up
Good Morning Daisy and Menu Family!
We are in a huge blizzard right now and already have a TON of snow on the ground and more coming down!
QOTD: I've never seen Shark Tank or Dragon's Den.
Accountability: I've been wanting to eat all the time lately. I think I may be trying to fill up missing Saralisa with food and also being trapped indoors due to the blizzard and the cold weather makes me want to eat more, too. Yesterday: Protein - 96, Calories - 1,335, Carbs - 146.
B: prosciutto & mozzarella sticks, light & fit Greek yogurt
L: crustless chicken pot pie
D: beef teriyaki
S: prosciutto & mozzarella sticks, light & fit Greek yogurt, banana, 2 Atkin's peanut butter cups
E: Exercise bike?
Have a fantastic day everyone!

Karen, after 11 years in balmy California and 6 years before that in Dallas, I (who was raised somewhere snowy) feel very deprived of winter, and truly miss snow! I wish we could time blizzards well enough in advance to perfect travel to them for people like me! I know you are hurting over Saralisa, all the while being very proud of her and cheering her on. I'm not yet plagued by hunger, thank God and my surgeon, but I certainly am familiar with that feeling. When I was managing it rather than being plowed under by it, my go-to remedy was big pots of flavorful tea. Warming, filling, hydrating tea did help. Hang in there! If we were closer I'd trudge over through the snow and we could do some sort of artsy craft together, or play board games. Stay warm!
