Good luck on your move decision. My Brother in Law lives in Seattle and loves it. He's a security guard at the Space Needle. My son's engineering team at school has a competition there in June so I'm thinking we are finally going to be able to visit Seattle!

Good Morning everyone!

Quiet weekend and put away the electron d vices for the weekend, so I didn't post this weekend. Kept busy with stuff around the house.

Accountability: Stayed on plan all weekend. Made my DH fried chicken strips but I never touched them...proud of myself. I had roasted pork instead. I have gotten pretty good at making food for DH that I am not able to eat...just not worth it to me. I am down .2 lbs.....it is something and going the right direction.

Menu:

B: 3 egg whites with onion & green pepper

L: 4 oz. Fajita beef w/ 2 slices 2% American cheese melted on top

D: 4 oz. Marinated Chicken Breast...maybe a veggie on the side

S: SF Popsicle

qotd: I agree with JB...like the show but the panel are asses. Mr. Wonderful....not so Wonderful! I like some of the products but haven't bought any as of yet.

Good morning menu folks! I am one of those furloughed Feds, so I am home today, which is nice, but with no guarantee of pay, which is not nice. I hate that they play games with us based on their own personal agenda. Okay, I've had my say...

I spent alot of yesterday in bed, medicated and recovering from my dental work. I felt somewhat better yesterday, but still in quite a bit of pain. No swimming for two days. Today I plan to get in some swimming if my mouth still feels okay. I may also do some cleaning that didn't get done this weekend with being in bed.

QOTD: I don't really watch TV so I'm not familiar with either show.

Menu:

Breakfast: Wakeup wrap with turkey sausage

Snack: string cheese, blueberries

Lunch: TJ's chicken sausages, baby carrots

Snack: 2 oz turkey breast, cantaloupe

Dinner: salmon, cauliflower

Exercise: hour of swimming plus some water weights

So glad you're on the mend. Whether today or if necessary tomorrow, enjoy your swim.

My son is also a federal employee, but deemed essential, and so will be working without pay until this is resolved. IMO the whole mess is disgusting, petty, and childish in the extreme, but cooler, wiser heads these days seem outnumbered or at least out-maneuvered by radical extremists and their threats. I worry for my country. I hope that this mess ends soon!

Good morning menu peeps! Had a beautiful warm weekend here in Illinois and Lily and I had wonderful walks every afternoon. We will do our 4 miles in a bit after it's light out and I'll do another mile in the afternoon before dinner prep starts. QOTD I do watch Shark Tank sometimes but I do wonder why the judges are such asses. Maybe if you're rich you think you can be rude to others--after all we do have a President like that too?! Never bought a product from there though. Post op 5 years 4.75 months and weight at 118.8 today. Accountability was good even though I wanted to eat everything I could get my hands on. I didn't so that's a win in my book. Heres the food for maintenance today B 1/2 c steel cut oats with protein and homemade nut butter L 1 c chili with cheese D31/2 oz ground beef 1/2 c green beans S 5 oz cottage cheese with 1 T no sugar added blueberry jam. Have a great day full of smart and conscious choices everyone!

Good morning! Yeah, Patriots and Eagles! The Patriots always keep us on the edge of our seats but they pulled it off. We had a great dinner and the no-noodle lasagne was a big hit. It took about 1.5 hours of preparation time, but was well worth it. According to MFP, it is about 36 calories per ounce and 2.7 grams of protein (I weighed my serving). A copy of the recipe is below.

Accountability: I don't usually do this, but way too many football snacks and some wine put me pretty high in the calories (thank goodness the main meal was fairly low). Regardless I ate stuff I didn't really need to (there were better choices).

QOTD: I've watched Shark Tank a couple of times and enjoyed the ingenuity but hated the judges. I don't know if I've ever bought any products that started on the show. I like the concept but don't see why they think having nasty judges is necessary?

1 year, 10 months post-op

B: eggs, cottage cheese and Canadian bacon

L: Tuna salad, pickles and cottage cheese

D: Leftover no-noodle lasagne (unless we go out)

S: yogurt

Tom Brady and Belichek are certainly GOATS - Greatest of All Time , I was actually shocked with the emotion that belichek Displayed at the end of the game, he was pumped! I am a Cowboy fan and my eldest son likes the Pats so I was rooting for them. My youngest son likes the Packers - the Packers Play at the Patriots next season and he was asking if we could go, Last night he said..I do NOT want to go watch the Packers play at the Patriots as it will be a bad game for us....LOL...
