Fellow Ketoers - do you count total or net carb?
I had my RNY in September 2005. My weight bounced up to 192 over the last couple years. I started Keto on December 11th and as of January 15th have lost 18 lbs. I keep my calories btw 900-1000 and try to keep my total carbs under 13 a day (5% carbs, 25% Protein, 70% healthy fats).
I was curious how everyone else counts their macros and calories?
I only look at the total as well...from what I've found, those things with 'net' carbs usually aren't the best things to be eating anyway.
They are a way for companies to tout 'low carb', but in all honesty, 'whole' foods don't need 'net' carbs listed on the label, and I really like to try to eat whole foods as much as possible.
