Good morning menu buiilders- great term Daisy!

I'm on my 3rd day of working out and today took a massive push to get me out of my cozy bed but I'm so glad I did. I am learning preparation is key- I had my workout clothes ready to go, and had already made my lunch for today (it was part of a recipe series that I'm livestreaming on Facebook for my Pampered Chef customers). Getting up earlier, and doing some prep at night has made my mornings so much better- I'm really loving that part of my day this week.

Accountability was great yesterday.

MEnu:

B: I did a modification to Kelly's egg salad- I mixed an egg with 1/4 cup of cottage cheese and some Everything but the bagel spice then microwaved it for 2 minutes so kind of like an omelette/scrambled egg bowl. It was yummy!

L: Asian Crunch salad- Cucumbers, carrots and purple cabbage with an Asian vinaigrette dressing. I can't wait for lunch time!

D: It's our busy night and I haven't planned anything. It will likely be chicken nuggets for the family and leftover chicken drumsticks for me

S- Skyr Yogurt with SF Salted Caramel syrup - love that stuff!!

Exercise is done and vitamins and water will be on track. Scale has been slowly inching back down after that big jump earlier in the week - 163 this morning. 162.5 has been the lowest weight I've seen so I'm thrilled to be getting close to that again. Hoping to be solidly in the 150s soon!!! I'm really anxious to say good-bye to the 160s.

I'm learning to change my thinking - replacing I have to with I get to, - it's so powerful. Instead of - I have to workout- I get to workout. I have to make good food choices - I get to make good food choices.

It can feel a little forced at first but it does get easier.

Oops! I forgot to answer the QOTD: Not really a secret, but not something I advertise either- I love Newfie music and Irish music. I'd love to learn to dance a jig properly because it's so much fun and really burns off the calories. Crush- - Shemar does it for me every time - especially in Criminal Minds and he would call Penelope Baby Girl... As a teen I liked Tom Cruise but not a fan anymore and the same with Brad Pitt.

So did you make the egg salad with a hardboiled egg, then micro it? Or was it an uncooked egg?
