What's on your Menu today (Tuesday) RNYers?
Good morning! Work was crazy yesterday and I ended up working a 12 hour day even though I wasn't planning on working overtime at all. Didn't eat lunch til 4 PM, and didn't have a "dinner" since lunch was so late, but ended up eating a small bowl of caramel popcorn my boss brought in earlier in the afternoon. Oy vey.
Qotd: Amazon here too! But if I had to pick a brick-and-mortar store I guess I'd say Lowe's or Target. Lowe's because I love home improvement projects and they have a decent garden center here.
Breakfast today: protein shake
lunch: salad with lots of veggies and balsamic vinaigrette
snack: Greek L&F
dinner: on my own, so might just make an egg and sauté some kale.

I'm glad you are feeling better! The weather was warmer here yesterday afternoon so we walked on the beach, had dinner outside at a restaurant and watched the sunset. Today my SIL arrives for the winter (she is sharing our place). Yeah!
QOTD: Probably Amazon as well (wait, maybe I already have maxed out my card there!). I love the convenience and their prices are usually great (with a few exceptions).

Accountability - I added a late evening Cliff bar - I was still down this morning but was kicking myself for adding that so late.
QOTD - Amazon - hands down, I loved the convenience and the no hassle return policy. I find everything on that site! I just bought some liquid aminos, ( healthier version of soy sauce on their).
Menu - going well, I am eating well and eating to maintain at 190 pounds - ( I am not there yet...LOL) but getting closer.
Exercise - today is my chest day, I have never done alot of chest exercises ( bench, etc) so I am concious of doing this at the gym , the gym has been crazy busy due to being so close to the first of the year so it should be interesting.

Good morning menu folks. I am working from home today for a few hours before I head to see my PCP for the results of my ultrasounds and blood work. I didn't sleep well because I am worried about the next steps and what she will have to say. I slept in for about half an hour since I'm not commuting, well I stayed in bed and snuggled with the cats. Then I got up, made coffee and threw myself into my work. I'm just coming up for air and a second cup of coffee.
I did well yesterday with food and exercise. I did my hour of swimming and some work with water weights. As for food, I was on plan except that I had a Quest bar right before bed. I was really struggling with hunger--probably mostly head hunger--and I decided that a bar with protein would be a better choice than fish crackers that belong to my wife anyway. I didn't need the extra calories, but it wasn't a totally bad choice.
Today I will wor****il about 1:00 and then head to the appointment. I plan to get off the Metro a couple of stops early to get in some stress relief walking. The weather isn't so cold (although calling for snow showers) and I need the exercise for my sanity. I hope to go to deep water aerobics this evening and may get in some extra laps too to relax a bit.
QOTD: I do way too much shopping at Amazon and Kohls. It is way too easy to go online and pick what I want without having to drive somewhere and fight the crowds.
Menu:
Breakfast: 1/2 cup plain oatmeal, hard boiled egg, 2 pieces turkey bacon
Snack: Cappuccino protein shake
Lunch: TJ's chicken sausages or turkey breast, baby carrots
Snack: probably another protein shake since I will be going to the appointment
Dinner: salmon, broccoli slaw
Exercise: extra walking and hopefully deep water aerobics and some extra swimming
HW: 248+, SW (RNY: 2/28/17): 244, GW (10/17): 125; LW: 115; 45# regain (19-20); CW: 135.6; new goal: 135; Plastics: Ext mastopexy, Ext abdominoplasty-5/18/2018; diagnosed w/ gastroparesis 11/20.
Positive thoughts for you today, will be good report I am certain! You and I have Amazon and Kohls in common as well, I love to bargain shop at Kohls!
