I have a question regarding carbs.

I am still trying to reach my goal weight so what should my carb grams be kept at? Also, does it depend on where the carbs are coming from...type of food?

For instance, the grams of carbs in a banana in my smoothie?

Thank you in advance for the help.

I found that keeping my carbs at 20-30 g per day until I reached goal was important. Those carbs should be from veggies and not from bread, crackers or pasta. In maintenance you can decide what you want to add back into your diet.
