Ride to and from hospital
Hi there. Have any of you needed to use a car service to drop you at the hospital or bring you home?
Nancy Geoghegan
I have not, and not sure the local hospitals would allow a patient to go home by way of a car service. They normally confirm or ask who is driving the patient.

I agree, I don't think that they will release you to a car service. They will want you monitored for the first few hours at least. I wish I lived closer so I could give you a ride.

Even for a simple colonoscopy, I had to sign a form that said I needed someone there to bring me home, and that it could not be a taxi or ride service. They checked to make sure, too.

Is this a euphemism you kids are using these days?
