hi all

I don't think there is enough coffee in the world for me today.

Here are a few pics from NYC. First is the tree at rockafeller and second from the top of the rock at night

we had a great time.

QOTD: I had an amazing teacher in 8th grade. she was super positive and kind to me- my dad had moved out and left us and i was an overweight unhappy kid. she let me use homeroom time to walk around the campus with a friend and a ended up losing about 20-30 pounds with dieting also. She told me that I could be anything I wanted to be and to no let anything stop me. It was good advise except that I wanted to be an actor and singer on broadway. While I ended up with a degree in vocal performance, alas, I am not a a famous actor. lol

plans on weekend- need some positive vibes please. I should be 'in the clear' by 10 am but please swing some chickens in the meantime for me.

food for today-

ribs

egg whites

coffee

almond milk/PP

gelatin/PP

Love the car,JB. It is frigid here in Illinois and we got some ice overnight so most likely Lily and I will do good to go around the block. I will do 4 miles on the treadmill later even though I hate hate hate it. Both sweaters look great on you! I think a bit of a V Neck is much more flattering at our age then a round one.

Nice wheels JB, I hope you can wind down this weekend!!

I remember finding my job almost intolerable after time off. It seemed as though I became numb to it after a while and vacation took the numbness away. (the craziness)

QOTD: My Dad always says back up your word with action!

Time out--1 year, 4 months+

Menu Yesterday I found a handful of croutons. I have an obsession with crunch...

B: protein coffee, pepperoni with cheese, microwaved until crunchy

L: Shrimp salad: chopped shrimp and baby carrots w/low fat mayo on lettuce leaf

D: Homemade Baby back ribs

Cal: 756 Prot: 83 Carb: 11

Pictures: the view from my lap Christmas afternoon--my constant companions (YES, 6 furbabies!)
